"It looks like a giant fish lizard," Saryn whispered. "Do those things bite?" Pilnes's ears dropped, and his eyes grew flat, then he stared at Saryn.
"Have you ever even seen a giant fish lizard," Pilnes whispered with a little yell. "Besides, that's NOT a giant fish lizard! It's Miracnes! Remember him?"
"Oh yeah, that was the giant thing that appeared before I knew you could talk," Saryn said. She walked over to the window and stared at Miracnes. Miracnes flew near her, its giant black eyes gleaming as it soared. Saryn reached out, and pet it on the head. She noticed how soft it was, and then noticed all the glimmering glitter like sparkles floating around it. "It's so beautiful!" Pilnes walked over and looked at Miracnes.
"Remember, I'm your Zicknes," he said. Saryn slowly turned her head and looked at Pilnes.
"Can't I have two," She said very quickly. Pilnes's face grew to a cherry red.
"NO," he yelled loudly, waking Kontenia up. Kontenia stared at Pilnes, then at Miracnes. Her eyes grew bigger.
"Ahhhh," she screamed. "It's a Micknull!" She took her pillow and started hitting Dones in the head. "It's a Micknull! It's a Micknull! Wake up, wake up! Go fight it! Wake up!!!!!!" Dones moved all around, trying to get her to stop smothering him with the pillow. He finally managed to turn around, and he stared at Kontenia.
"WHAT DO YOU WANT," he yelled loudly.
Kontenia stared at him, then pointed to Miracnes. "It's a Micknull," she said quietly. "He might...ummm...hurt me?"
Dones looked at Miracnes, then looked at Kontenia. "That's MIRACNES," he yelled. "HE'S A ZICKNES!"
"But, it looked scary," Kontenia whined.
All of their commotion woke up Shlones and Mineta. Mineta just sat there, and looked at Miracnes.
"Why couldn't you have been calm like Mineta," Dones said.
"It's scary looking," Kontenia yelled at the top of her lounges. Shlones closed his eyes, and his face grew flat.
"Never wake up a Zicknes when it's sleeping," he said. "You'll regret it."
Mineta started giggling.
"What are you laughing about," Kontenia yelled.
"You're too cautious," Dones continued.
"I am not," Kontenia yelled back.
"Never wake up Kontenia when she's sleeping," Mineta said, sarcastically. "You'll be sorry!"
"Hey, all of you quit it," Pilnes yelled. "We don't want to go against each other!"
"You quit it, Pilnes," Dones screamed. "You're just happy because you think you are the leader! Well you couldn't lead a chicken across a road! I should be the leader!"
"I don't think I'm the leader, I just want you to stop," Pilnes replied. "You are stuck up today!"
Kontenia could see Pilnes's face beginning to turn red. Dones's was already purple!
"Please don't fight," she said. She took her hands off of Miracnes and walked over to where they were all fighting. "Fighting doesn't solve much!"
"Oh, so now all of a sudden you are the leader, is that it," Kontenia snapped.
Saryn's jaw fell open. Miracnes's eyes began to glow, but nobody noticed it. Then, they turned red.
Kontenia pushed Saryn and stared at her on the ground. "Let's see how much of a leader you are!"
Saryn's jaw still hung open, as she got up, and looked at Kontenia. "I'm not stooping down to your level," she said. "Maybe you should just stop right now!"
Miracnes's eyes returned to their normal black color, as he watched. Kontenia's eyes zeroed in on Pilnes, who was still fighting with Dones. He picked him up, and squeezed his arms tightly.
"Ouch," he cried.
"Neither one of you are leaders, and I'll prove it," she shrieked. She tightened her grasp, then dived toward Saryn and tripped her. Miracnes's eyes grew red again, and he cried out an ear popping sound. He flew into the window, breaking it, and he grabbed Kontenia by the collar with his mouth. He soared through the air with her. She screamed through the whole thing.
Dones watched, and then he could feel his anger beginning to come out. "You let her down," he yelled. Pilnes smiled, and walked by Saryn.
"He was protecting you," Pilnes said. Shlones walked by Pilnes, and smiled, then looked at Kontenia in the air.
"It is kind of funny," Shlones said. Mineta smiled too.
Dones kept running after Miracnes, who was playing games with him. Miracnes was going this way and that, circling, and then going curvy and straight. Dones stopped, and stared at Kontenia yelling in the air.
“Help,” she said. “Dones, I’m so sorry, help me, please!”
Dones took a deep breath, and then he yelled out “You better let her down now, or I’ll be forced to do something really bad!”
Miracnes looked down at Dones, and then he dived down to Dones, leaving Kontenia in the air and falling. Dones ran, and the Miracnes flew back up, and caught Kontenia. Then, he stared at Dones, and his body glowed. Dones then saw him let go of Kontenia, and Dones watched as she fell to the ground. He screamed really loudly, making Saryn run to him to calm him.
“What’s wrong,” she asked. “Miracnes is just playing with you!”
“Just playing,” Dones screamed. He looked at Colnes, only to see that he was still holding Kontenia. “But…but how?” I saw him drop her…”
“He never dropped her,” Saryn said calmly. “Maybe you should get some rest. Do you feel okay?”
Dones was about to say something, but he didn’t when he saw Miracnes explode with Kontenia.
“No,” he yelled out. He closed his eyes, then looked down, and he began to glow. He looked up and saw Miracnes still there, with Kontenia still in his mouth by the collar. He glowed brighter, and brighter, then he grew taller. He grew one spike on each arm and leg, then he turned black. Saryn gasped as she saw him transform. He looked meaner, tougher, and stronger. He dashed toward Miracnes, then jumped onto a bark of one tree, and into the sky. He tried to grasp onto Miracnes, but Miracnes was too fast, and it dodged. Miracnes glowed again and his expression changed. He was mad. Dones was falling towards the ground, but he yelled out “Heavens Wings!” and he grew huge, beautiful wings. Miracnes’s eyes turned red, and he flew to a tree, and dropped Kontenia in it. She grabbed a branch and hung on. . She grabbed a branch and hung on. Miracnes flew to Dones and Dones flew to him. Dones tried to punch him, but Miracnes dodged. Miracnes started to shine, the Dones saw him shoot a beam out of his mouth, and then he saw an explosion, and he closed his eyes. He opened his eyes a minute after, only to notice that Miracnes hadn't moved.
"Stop playing games with my head," he yelled out, then with lightning speed he punched Miracnes in the face. Miracnes screamed, and he started to glow all different colors. He focused on Dones, and he disappeared without a trace. Dones soared down to Kontenia and picked her up. He looked at Saryn and Mineta, then he flew off until he couldn't be seen. The sky grew dark, and shadows went on everything.
"Now the real terror has begun," Pilnes said.
