Man on the Flying Trapeze
Hold your left index finger out and throw a fast breakaway so the yo-yo string hits the bottom of your finger 2-3 inches from your yo-yo.
as the yo-yo comes over your finger aim to land it on the string.
If you have enough spin you can make the yo-yo walk back and forth on the string by moving your finger closer and farther apart.
Swing the yo-yo off the string up into the air and it will come back to your hand.
This trick takes weeks of practice to get, it is very hard to learn. The key is being able to throw hard straight consistant breakaways. Also the closer your left finger is to the yo-yo the easier it is to catch. This trick is much easier if you have a butterfly shaped yo-yo.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Double or Nothin'
Hold your left index finger out
Throw a breakaway so the yo-yo string hits the bottom of your left index finger and loops over the top, then hits the top of your right index finger and loops under then hits the bottom of your left index finger again loops over the top and lands on any of the three strings stretched across your fingers (preferably the one furthest from your body).
flip the the yo-yo up off the string and pull your fingers out and the yo-yo will return to your hand.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Triple or Nothin'
This is like double or nothin' but it goes one step further.
Throw a breakaway that loops around your left finger, over and around your right finger, up and over your left finger, over and around your right finger, up over your left finger and lands on any of the strings. Finish by fliping the yo-yo up and dropping all strings.
If you have a fairly long string on your yo-yo it is also possible to do a quadrouple or nothin'.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over the Wrist Trapeze
Hold your left arm out and throw a breakaway, so the string hits the bottom of your wrist, loops over the top and lands on the string.
Finish by fliping the yo-yo up and pulling your left arm away. The yo-yo will return to your hand.

Over the Shoulder Trapeze
Thanks to Tomer
Throw a backwards around the world.
Hold your arm out so the string hits the bottom of your arm and loops around.
Aim the yo-yo to land on the string.
After you land the yo-yo on the string, flip the yo-yo off around your arm and back to your hand.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Over the Leg Trapeze
This trick is rather self-explanatory. Stick your left leg out and try to keep it still, then throw a breakaway so that it wraps around your leg and hopefully lands on the string.
The toughest part of this trick is figuring out how close to put your hand to your leg so that there's enough string to allow the yo-yo to wrap all the way around. Once you have that down, catching the yo-yo is not as hard as it sounds.

Momentary Lapse
Thanks to Tomer
You can do this from a breakaway, a forward pass or a throwdown. I find it by far the easiest from a forward pass because a forward pass generaly never sleeps.
Throw a forward pass that doesn't sleep and have it loop over your finger and land on the string like a trapeze that stops spinning.
The yo-yo should be sitting on the string one third of the way wound up, not spinning. Flip the yo-yo off the string, it will unwind to the bottom of the string and come back to your hand.
This trick is fun to do during lunar loops but it requires perfect timing and perfectly straight loops.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Behind the Back Trapeze
Thanks to Tomer
Make a fist with your left hand, but stick your thumb out and hold it behind you facing backwards.
Lean forward and throw a breakaway behind your back.
Have the yo-yo loop around your thumb and land on the string. When it starts to run out of spin, flip the yo-yo off the string and it will wind into your hand.
Since you can't see the yo-yo it helps to visualize where it is when you do the trick.

4 Cool Trapeze Endings
Ending 1
This is simply thread the needle from the trapeze
After you land the trapeze push your left hand forward hard and pull your right hand backwards hard to make the yo-yo shoot out and back to your hand.
Ending 2
This is like the ending to ferris wheels.
move your left hand out and down and your right hand towards you and up, the yo-yo will come off the trapeze. continue looping your hands this way until your left hand is closer to you than your right, then push your left hand hard straight up into the air. The yo-yo will go straight up then come back down to your hand.
Ending 3
Flip the yo-yo off the string and pull your right hand down and under your left finger to go directly into pullovers.
Do a few loops and drop the yo-yo.
Ending 4
Flip the yo-yo off the string and pinch the string a few inches from the yo-yo.
Do a few pinwheels (counter-clockwise looking from the left) then drop the string.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upside Down Trapeze
Hold your left index finger out in front of you
Throw a hard sleeper over your finger so it loops over and down under your finger and the yo-yo hits the bottom of the string
. Since the yo-yo cannot just magically stick to the string, as soon as hits, you must move your left hand towards you and down, and move your right hand forward and up.
The yo-yo should know be on top of the string. like in braintwister. Flip it off and the yo-yo will come back to your hand.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Around the World Trapeze
Do an around the world, as it comes around stick your left finger out so the yo-yo comes over your finger and lands on the trapeze.
You can also do a few around the worlds before you do the trapeze or try around the world to double or nothin'.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shooting Star / Halley's Comet
First throw a trapeze.
With the yo-yo on the trapeze, do a one-handed star with your right hand. You have just done a shooting star.
To turn it into a Halley's Comet, insert your right thumb into the loop that's over your left index finger and remove your left hand. This wil leave you with a one-handed star with the yo-yo on a trapeze underneath.
