First blush of morning behold
As it creeps over the horizon line
Dawns silhouette, pink and gold
Greets my slumbering drowsy mind.
Embrace the earth, this early morn
The scent of spring fills the air
The world wakes fresh, newly born
Awash with color, ablossom rare.
In early morning the world is triumphant
Young and tender, fresh with life
The soil is fertile, growth abundant,
Kissed by rays of glorious light.
Its here I find inspiration for my days
I am part of the continuum which nature divinely lays.
