The Word In Raw Form
Elohim

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.” (John 1:1and 3) Alaha, the Aramaic (ancient Hebrew) word for God, means “Sacred Unity” and is related to Eloha (Hebrew) and Allah (Arabic). "Elohim, the plural of the Hebrew word Eloha, "god," is a lengthened form of the Canaanite word "El". The Hebrew word 'Eloha' means Mighty One, and its plural 'Elohim' means Mighty Ones. Elohim is usually translated in the singular form, Mighty One. We know and understand that there is only ONE creator. The reason that the plural form of ‘Eloha’ (Elohim) is used when referring to the creator is because HE that is unseen has an express image that is seen in the face of the four living creatures that surrounds HIS throne. It is written in Ezekiel chapter 1:3-10, "

3) The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
4) And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the color of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
5) Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
6) And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7) And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the color of burnished brass.
8) And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
9) Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10) As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle."

The number four is the number of the world. This becomes evident when we see that there are four cherubim with four faces of four earthly creatures (man, lion, ox, eagle) on Yahweh's throne; there are four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth (Rev. 7:1); there are four seasons (spring, summer, autumn and winter); there are four cardinal directions (east, south, west and north). These four living creatures (Elohim) are the express image of the Almighty One. The Bible also tells us that Yahshua the Messiah is the express image of the Father: “Who being the brightness of HIS glory, and the express image of HIS person, and upholding all things by the word of HIS power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.” (Hebrews 1:3) When Elohim began to make man, he said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. A widely accepted theory is that, in this passage, the Lord was talking to Himself. In a sense, this is true; however, we must understand that the Elohim (the four creatures with four faces each, who are the express image of the ONE AND ONLY creator) was discussing the matter within themselves - HIMSELF. This is the Sacred Unity that was afore mentioned in the definition of His name (Alaha). From the four likenesses of Himself, Elohim chose the likeness of “man” to inhabited and subdue the earth which He created.

The four faces of Elohim have significant meaning as it pertains to His character, His will and His purpose for mankind. The face of the man represents Elohim’s intelligence and His ability to subdue and take dominion. He commanded the first Adam to take dominion over the earth and to subdue it. Man is, therefore, the ruler or king over all that was created. The face of the lion represents His kingship and judgment. According to Zoology, the lion is known and esteemed as the most feared predator of his habitat; therefore, he is deemed as king of the jungle. The face of the ox represents the Father’s power and ability to pull or carry heavy burdens. The ox is also known as the king of cattle. The eagle represents Elohim’s keen, piercing sight and His ability to soar above any storm; for the eagle can fly higher than any other bird. For this reason, the eagle is duly noted as the king of birds. Notice that all four creatures are kings in their own right. Clergymen, past and present, teach that “God” is the king of kings and the lord of lords. They teach this in the sense of Him being over all the kings and lords (men) of the earth. This is true. Moreover, the very image of Elohim (man, lion, ox and eagle) tells us that He is the king and lord over all of His creation.

When Yahshua the Messiah came as the second Adam, he came in the form of man with all of the power, uniqueness and characteristics of Elohim (man, lion, ox and eagle). This is why the Word has the supremacy and the aptitude to deal with our humanity by giving us intelligent and wise counsel. The Word has the kingly authority to judge us. The Word is proficient in carrying our heavy burdens and can deliver us (pull us out) of the clutches of sin. Finally, we are transparent before the Word as He is able to see into the depths of our hearts and minds; furthermore, the word is able to give us the strength to soar above the storms of life. When the word of Yahweh comes to us, He will come with the nature and mobility of one of the four creatures, in one of the four seasons of our lives. This is evident as we see that Yahshua, who is the Word, came as a man (a humble servant and a wonderful counselor). He came as a lion (conqueror of sin and death). He came as an ox (the deliverer who would carry the yoke of the sins of the world upon His shoulders). He came as an eagle (a prophet with the all-seeing capacity to see within the chambers of our hearts and the power to be resurrected from the dead).

It is written, “When thou saidst, seek ye my face; my heart said, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.” (Psalm 27:8) It is imperative that we seek the face of Yahweh Elohim. While seeking His face, we must understand that He will come to us in the way that we need Him most (with the face that we need the most). It is also written, “He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust….” (Psalm 91:4) Notice that one of the characteristics of Elohim is that there are human hands under His wings. Remember when you went to church and you heard that awe-inspiring message. You thought to yourself, “The Word touched me!” I’m here to tell you, my friend, that it was the hand of Yahweh Elohim (the hand under His wings/the hand in the Word) that touched you. The scriptures did not say that Ezekiel saw a lion’s claw, an ox’s hoof, or an eagle’s talon under the wings of the four creatures. He saw a man’s hand. This is symbolic of how Elohim relates to the frailty of man. If we allow Him, he will mold and shape us into His Holy image with His loving and skillful hands.

It is written, “For the word of Elohim is quick, and powerful, and shaper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12) Here, we can also see the characteristics of Elohim. The Word is living and dominant: man. The Word is sharper than any two-edged sword: lion’s teeth. The Word pierces even to the dividing in-two: ox’s horns. Finally, the Word can discern all thoughts and motives of the heart: eagle’s vision. In the book of Revelation, we see that Elohim (the Word) is revealed to the Apostle John. Revelation 4:6 and 7 reads, "6) And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. 7) And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. This is the Word of Yahweh Elohim in raw form. Yahshua the Messiah, who is the Word of Yahweh Elohim, is soon to return as the Lion of Yahudah (Judah). Let us not be hearers of the Word only; but let us be doers of the Word. For no man knows the day, nor the hour that Son of Yahweh will come. So be it, and so it is.
