My purpose for writing this article is to awaken, to empower, to stimulate, to educate and to challenge the minds and spirits of all people, of every race and creed. Furthermore, this article is dedicated to the descendants of the children of slavery...to all Africans...in the U.S.... at home and abroad.
Sleep no longer. Arise from your slumber and realize that you, who are of African descent, have a responsibility to know who you really are.
I, therefore, propose to you a vital question. With which cultural term are you most comfortable when it comes to identifying yourself with your ethnic group? Do you think of yourself as a colored person? A black person? A Negro? Afro-American? Maybe you are one who has adopted the recent trend of identifying with the "MOTHER LAND" and choose rather to be called African-American? The truth of the matter is that we, the descendants of the children of slavery, are having an IDENTITY CRISIS.
I am a firm believer that the Holy Bible is the most reliable source of truth as it pertains to who we are as a people. However, it is not the only source from which to acquire the whole truth. I have further come to recognize that the Bible, as we know it today, has been violated, mutilated and mistranslated over the centuries by kings, priests, scholars and theologians who sought only to black out the true identity of a people from the annals of history by white washing the truth with lies and fantasies. Our elder brother and savior, Yahshua (ya-shoo-a) the Messiah (we know him today as Jesus Christ), knew the hearts and the hands of men through which the Father's Word had to pass in order that the gospel would be preached internationally. This is why he stated in John 14:17, "…Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him." Also in John 16:13 the Messiah stated, "Howbeit, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth." Man may have changed a lot of things in the Bible to give solidarity to his diabolical agenda, but that is where grace comes into play. Even though we read what's left of the Word of the Father, because of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, we are still able to receive all that we may need, ask or think. Furthermore, it is all because of the Spirit of truth and the Father's amazing grace that the whole truth is manifested unto us.
So no matter how maliciously tattered the Bible may have come to be, it is neither by the power of man's knowledge, nor by the might of the dollar. It is by the Spirit of the Almighty Creator, the Father and King of Righteousness who came to earth and manifested himself as a mortal being who became the savior of mankind, baring the name "Yahshua the Messiah."
Please, don't get the wrong impression. By no means am I "Pro-Black." I am "Pro-Fact". I neither find it pleasing, nor profitable to bash or offend other religions, races or cultures. I am neither a renegade prophet, a bootleg preacher, nor am I a member of a religious cult. I am just a man who, by the Spirit of truth, seeks out the truth so that I may impart that same truth into the lives of the few that hunger for truth. I simply challenge you to do something that our ancestors who were enslaved were forbidden to do, and we as a free people continue to fail to do, and that is to "keep an open mind to the Truth."
Our problem, as a race, is that we have suffered brain damage from the many deadly blows of life's battles, trials and tribulations. We are a highly intelligent, spiritually rooted race of people; however, the virus, that was planted in our minds by politicians, our educational systems, our misguided spiritual leaders, the media and those of other ethnic groups who seek to exalt their race above all other races, has affected our capacity to think beyond the realms of our past and current social, economic, intellectual and spiritual capabilities. For this reason, we, as a people are still perpetuating “the slave’s mentality”. Nevertheless, what good is an open mind when the heart is hardened and the spirit is sick unto death?
Shall I continue with our identity crisis? I shall. Let us go on to perfection.
There are so many sources of information, books, authors, historical accounts and numerous scriptures that I would love to list by name. However, for the sake of time and space, I will list only a few that will adequately support the subject at hand.
At this time, I would like for you to take a minute to reflect on your historical knowledge of slavery. Think of what you learned in junior high (middle school), high school and college dealing with the subject of slavery. Now, take another minute and think of the many races of people who were, according to the history books, taken from their home land by a nation who are as swift as the eagle, transported to a strange
land by ships, sold into slavery and scattered all over the face of the earth. If you were taught what I was taught in the institutions of knowledge about slavery, then only one race of people comes to mind….Africans. Let us go to the most reliable source of truth for confirmation.
In the book of Deuteronomy 28:49-50 it is written, "The Lord shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of old age, nor shew favor to the young.." Again, in Deuteronomy28:64 and 68 it is written, "And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again; and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen…." Here we see the judgment of Yahweh that came upon Yisrael for disobeying His commandments. Though they were liberated from the bondage of Egypt, their hearts and minds were still in Egypt. Now, the Hebrews were to be cast out of their home in Jerusalem to be scattered among the nations of the world.
In the book of Obadiah the Father addresses the nation who took the slaves into captivity. In Obadiah 1:4 it is written, "Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the Lord." Take a look at the American flag. It is painfully clear that the stars on the flag and the eagle, which is the American symbol of freedom and power, reveals the true identity of our captors (Britain/England/America).
The story of the so-called African slaves neither begins in America, nor does it stop at the shores of West Africa. The Hebrew slaves written about in the Bible had become disobedient to the Creator. They had forgotten all about their mandate from Yahweh to be the example of righteousness to the world. The nation of Yisrael (Israel) had become an idolatrous nation. This is why the God of Yisrael, after long enduring the gross sins of a people whom he loved and emancipated from Egyptian bondage, allowed the Israelites to be taken into captivity.
The sons of Edom (Esau) were the instruments that the Father used to bring about the Diaspora (dispersal). Edom (e’-dom), Idumaea or Idumea (red). The name Edom was given to Esau, the first-born son of Isaac and twin brother of Jacob. The country which the Lord subsequently gave to Esau was hence called "the country of Edom," and his descendants were called Edomites (e’-dom-ites). Edom was called Mount Seir and Idumea also. The Edomites refused to permit the Israelites to pass through their land. For a long period we hear no more of the Edomites.
They were then attacked and defeated by Saul, and some forty years later by David. In the reign of Jehoshaphat (872 BCE) the Edomites attempted to invade Israel, but failed. They joined Nebuchadnezzar when that king besieged Jerusalem. For their cruelty this time they were fearfully denounced by the later prophets. After this they settled in southern Palestine, and for more than four centuries continued to prosper. But during the warlike rule of the Maccabees they were again completely subdued, and even forced to conform to Jewish laws and rites, and submit to the government of Jewish prefects. The Edomites were now incorporated with the Jewish nation. They were idolaters. Their habits were singular.
The Horites, their predecessors in Mount Seir [Petra], were supposed to have been troglodytes, or dwellers in caves, but they did not remain so, and it may have been only the tradition of later generations. The Horites were conquered by the Edomites, but intermarried with them. It is written in Malachi 1:4, "Whereas Edom saith, "We have been impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places,' - thus says the LORD of hosts: 'They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever."
Today, Edom (Idumea) is known as Germany or Ashkenaz. This is who occupies the land of Israel today--the Ashekenazi (from whence the word "nazi" derived)and Khazarians (from whence the word "czar" derives). Hence, we have the terms, "East German Jews" and "Russian Jews." They have attempted to rebuild the Holy Land; nevertheless, Yahweh has stated that he will throw down what they try to build because of their sins against Jacob. This could be the reason why there is continual unrest in Yisrael today.
What got the foreiners into trouble was the fact that they used the wrong approach to bring about the Diaspora. Their greed, insensitivity and lust for power caused the Father to speak out against them. In the book of Obadiah 1:10-14 it is written,"For thy violence against thy brother Yacov (Jacob) shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off for ever. In the day thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the stranger carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), even thou wast as one of them. But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Yahudah (Judah) in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity; Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress."
When the Hebrews were driven out of their home land (Diaspora ) a small percentage of them migrated north into the Iberian Peninsula, Spain and parts of Europe. The majority of the Hebrews filtered down into the African continent-from Mitzraim (Egypt) and Cush (Ethiopia) the children of Yacov (Yisrael) wandered from the east coast to the west coast of Africa. A sizable portion of Yisrael filtered deeper into the African continent, but many of the Hebrews (mostly from the tribe of Yahudah/Judah) settled in West Africa (Nigeria, Mali, Senegal, Ghana, Mauritania, Gambia, Liberia, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gold Coast, etc.).
The eagle that set his nest among the stars is Britain (symbolic of Edom). It was the British who sailed across the seas to the western shores of Africa and filled their ships with these so-called African people who were really the true descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. There were others in West Africa before the Hebrews arrived there. They were the natives of the land who were superior to the Hebrews. These natives, also known as masters to inferior sojourners and wanderers, were the people who initially sold the first Hebrew slaves to the marketers...the capitalists...the franchisers and tradesmen of human flesh...the British. The British were the foreigners who killed the captives that tried to escape. They gambled (casted lots) for the land that Yisrael was promised by the Father to possess. It pleased the foreigners to control the fate of the Hebrews and to finally gain control of their land. The rest of the story is quite obvious as our history books only tell part of the story from this point on.
England is born out of Britain and America is born out of England. America is the new Egypt for the children of slavery and their descendants. Look on the back of your dollar bill. The eagle has a cloud surrounding a nest of stars above its head. Notice that the stars form the hexagram, the star of David. This lets us know that our captors were cognizant that they took the remnant of Israel into slavery. We, the so-called colored people, Negroes, black people, Afro- Americans and African-Americans, were stripped of our true identity on purpose. Our brother, Esau (Edom), never got over the fact that he sold his birthright and missed his father's blessing of seniority and prosperity.
All of the names and titles that we have accepted and adopted over the centuries are misnomers and “by-words”. Prophecy tells us that we would lose our true identity and will no longer be known as Israel; but that we would be a “by-word” to all the nations (called by other names). It was the year 1609 when the first ship of slaves reached the shores of this New World. Isn't it a bit ironic that just two years later King James, after having it violated, mutilated and mistranslated, released the first edition of the Holy Bible.
Now the light shines on the real reason why the slaves were not allowed to learn to read. Perhaps Esau (European slave owners) was afraid that we (Yisrael) would discover our true heritage and identity.
I could go on and on with endless details of these shocking historical facts; however, I will stop here. If you are having a hard time believing and receiving all that you have read, I understand. I, too, had issues with all of this when I first read about these things years ago. That is why I took it upon myself to do extensive research with much prayer and guidance by the Spirit of Truth. I, therefore, challenge you to dig deep into the fabric of history and "KNOW THYSELF." Also know that you cannot truly begin to know thyself until you know your Creator. For it is by His Holy Sprit that you will find the truth that you seek.
It is my prayer that the Father and King of Righteousness will continue to give Yisrael the desire to be awakened. Shalom (peace).
