History: When she was 10 years old, her father left her mother. Her mother kept both Angel and her sister, and then remarried. By the age of 15, Angel had enrolled at Xavier's School for Young Mutants. Whilst there, she kissed bird-like fellow student Barnell Bhusk, aka Beak, for a dare. After this, they began a relationship.
