| Hey everyone! We thought this would be a great way to keep everyone updated on our wedding plans, as we seem to have to time to make sure everyone is in the loop. If you're visiting this site, you probably already know that we got engaged last February and are planning a September 18, 2004 wedding. Some other things you may not know about us.... 1999 when Beth's friend and Chad's cousin were dating. We both have July birthdays. Chad+is+almost+exactly+one+foot+taller+than+Beth. We have two dogs, a miniature apricot poodle named Buddy (Beth's dog), and a black labe named C.J. (Chad's dog) ~We are the proud God parents of Chad's niece Emily, who turned two in November. More info on us- we are now living in a cute 2-bedroom home in Clinton, MN. After living in Sioux Falls, SD (Beth for five years and Chad for three), we decided to move closer to "home" and Clinton is about halfway between Beth's parents and Chad's. Chad is working as a Personal Coordinator for Divine House Inc. (He manages a home for developmentally disabled adults). He is also a volunteer firefighter for the Clinton Fire Department, does construction work in his spare time, and plays league pool on Thursday night. Beth works as a bookkeeper in the accounting department of Border States Cooperative (an affiliate of Cenex Harvest States). She also works at the Divine House-(yes, Chad is her boss!), and at the Waiver House (a similar program, but for children). Additionally, she will be giving private flute lessons to high school students, and has recently leanred that she was selected as a coach for the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley freshman volleyball team. We are planning a simple (but pretty) fall wedding. We got a pretty early start on the wedding planning, and were able to get in on some good deals of fall decorations because of clearance sales, etc. We have only had one small hitch-so far-when Sioux Historic (the reception site we had booked) informed us they would be closing, and therefore not able to host our wedding. We will be getting married at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Graceville, MN, with the reception and dance at Big Stone American Legion in Big Stone City, SD. We have a Thanksgiving-type meal planned (to fit with the fall theme), and a lot of really neat details are in the works.
