Whats up studious persons. My name is Damon. Right now I am a first year med. student at Ross University School of Medicine. I am the President of WASP. So what the hell is WASP? It is an student organization devoted to White students. Basically, in today's medical school atmosphere the student body has become very diversified. This is a good thing but one of the first things that struck me was that there were numerous school organizations: Black, Indian, Vietnamese, etc. but there was nothing for the caucasian students. Since I had heard a ton of white students gripe about this misrepresentation, I thought I may as well start my own damn organization. So that is basically what this is. What really pisses me off though is the reverse racism BS I encounter. Apparently it is okay for all other racial and ethnic groups to form associations, but not for white students. In no way, shape, or form, is this a forum for racism or any of that. Further, I myself, am not racist nor any other members and that is not what this organization is about. So what are we about? We are about stirring up the pot and poking fun at how politically correct certain aspects of society and culture have become. I have become fed up with being tied down and I am not alone. If you can take a joke and wanna have fun this semester, you're more than welcome to join up. If not, get the F**k outta dodge. Late, D
