This is a site providing an information about Vraja Dhama, a place where Lord Krishna and His consort Radharani enjoys Their pastimes. Vrindavanam parityajya padam ekam na gacchati - Krishna never leaves Vrindavana, remember this if you want to be in Vrindavana. There are many incarnations, forms of the Lord, but all of them are but an expansions. There are many forms of Vishnu, but this type of relationships as Vaikuntha worship of Lord Vishnu is not popular in Vrindavana Dhama. There are just pure service to the Lord Krishna and Radharani in Their pastimes. Each devotee has his own spiritual form and his particular type of services to Divine couple.

There are many places in the area, where Lord Krishna performs His pastimes in a most beautiful way in order to please His pure devotees. Within this area are 12 main forests and 121 secondary forests. There are 12 main forests on the banks of the river Yamuna and different bathing places ( ghatas ), lakes ( kundas ) and Govardhana Hill. On the Eastern bank of the Yamuna river there are 5 main forests: Bhadravana, Bilavana, Lauhavana, Bhandiravana and Mahavana. On the Western bank there are 7 main forests: Madhuvana, Talavana, Kumudavana, Bahulavana, Kamyavana, Khadiravana and Vrindavana. These forests are divided between Krishna and His elder brother Balarama. Balarama controls Bhadravana, Bhandiravana, Srivana ( Bilavana ), Lauhavana and Krishna controls Brihadvana ( Mahavana ), Mahavana, Talavana, Bahulavana, Kamyavana, Kumudavana, Khadiravana and Vrindavana. There are also ghatas like Keshi Ghata, Varaha Ghata, Mohana Ter Ghata, Go Ghata, Kaliya Ghata ( Kaliya - hrada ), Surya Ghata ( Praskandana sarovara ), Sringara Vata Ghata ( Nityananda Vata ), Govinda Ghata, Chira Ghata ( Chehan Ghata ) and Bhramar Ghata. And there are kundas like Radha kunda, Syama kunda, Lalita kunda, Narada kunda, Jugala kunda, Kokila kunda, Panca - tirtha kunda ( contains water from 5 holy rivers: Narmada, Gomati, Sarayu, Kanchi and Vetri ), Papamocana kunda, Danivartana kunda, Gauri kunda, Sankarsana kunda, Govinda kunda, Nipa kunda, Nava kunda, Apsara kunda, Indra kunda, Surabhi kunda, Rudra kunda, Hariju kunda, Airavata kunda, Gula kunda, Vilachu kunda, Uddhava kunda. In the context of lilas there are many important places where Lord Krishna enjoys His pastimes with His devotees. These places are like Nandagrama, Varshana, Sanket.

Residents of the area are divided in groups according to their mood of service to Lord Krishna and Oueen Radhani. There are elders like Nanda Maharaja and Yasoda , King Vrishabhanu and Kirtida. Nothing happens there without Purnamasi devi. With the help of yogamaya each devotee can play perfectly his/her role. There are gopas and gopis in Vraja. Gopas are those, who reside in Vraja and take care of all vaishya business there like tending the cows and so on. There are three kinds of gopis in Vraja. There are younger servants - manjari gopis, there are girlfriends and elderly gopis. Those who are girlfriends gopis are divided in groups according to their mood in relationships with Krishna. There are sakhis (girlfriends), nitya sakhis (eternal friends), praana sakhis (as dear as life), priya sakhis (dear friends), parama preshtha sakhis (the most dear ones), the latest are 8 in number.
