Catalonia is Spain's Northeastern Region. It is located on the northeast border and the shape of the region is an inverted triangle. The Pyranees are on the North of it and the east is bordered by the Medditerrainian Sea. The Sierra Llena Mts. run through the region. It's major cities are Tarragona and Barcelona, the capital. Catalonia is one of the most wealthy and prosperous regions in Spain. Catalonia

Catalonia is a region well known to tourists. It contains many monuments built by the famous artist, Antoni Gaudi. Look at the picture link page to see his monuments.
