This is a Role Play in which you lead your character throughout almost their entire lives. Each player starts out as a young child and will play their character through to adulthood even facing old age and death. Players will create , by using the template, a child; this child may be Elvish, Dwarven, Human or Centaurian. Each race has its own benefits and drawbacks. Choose carefully once your character is made, you will need to work to change the character and make them grow. Dwarves Oft considered a taciturn race, the dwarves are one of the most private of all the races of the world. Excellent craftsmen, dwarves prefer to live under hills and mountains delving deep caverns and mining ores and forging some of the most beautiful arms armor and in truth any metal or stone items in the world. Dwarven society is very tightly knit and children are encouraged to apprentice themselves and pursue a craft, most dwarves are taught basic defense as well as mine work as they spend a great deal of time underground. While not open to other races dwarves commonly dwarves will trade for what they cannot acquire in their underground kingdoms, individually dwarves have a broad range of personalities but feel uncomfortable in the society of other races humans are often considered unpredictable, elves hardly ever serious enough and centaurs receive a grudging respect as they rarely meet outside of a trading post. Physically dwarves are a stocky race never above four and a half feet tall all males develop beards around their forty-fifth year. Elves Elves are generally a tall and graceful race, being fair of skin and hair. Most elves will reach heights of a little over six foot. Elves are a naturally swift race, being light on their feet and good at balancing. Elves are master bowmen, being able to hit small targets at long distances. However, unfortunately as their preference to forests limits space they very rarely will be trained in large heavy weaponry such as pole-arms, though spears are common enough. Many elves that are trained fighters will make use of long thing swords to match their grace and natural dexterity. As elves live in forests they will very rarely contact dwarves and as such often regard them as barbarians only interested in gutting the woodlands. However their views of the other races are equally low, humans are eyed with disdain though permitted and encouraged to leave very quickly and centaurs only seem to have trade contact and are treated with a careful affability. Culture wise the extremely long-lived elves build forested cities often in such a way you may walk into one almost in unawares. A further love for most natural things leads them to shy away from other races which they see as only extracting what they want and leaving the rest. Humans Humans are normal somewhere between elves and dwarves in height and build. Humans are average in most types of weapons. Humans, depending on their preference, can be found anywhere. They are friendly with both elves and dwarves and are also known to have dealings with centaurs. Humans often live in villages and towns and are the main population. The average human can be anything from a master archer to a sword smith. Human children are often ambitious and out going, wanting to grow up before their time. Humans often end up playing peace maker in parties that have both elves and dwarves until trust becomes mutual. Centaurs Centaurs are an extremely secretive race living mainly in deep forests. They are on occasion found in found, in small numbers, in cities or villages. Centaurs are experts at archery and good at close fighting, their hooves making deadly weapons. They are good with swords and spears as well as bows. Centaurs are very serious once the reach adult hood, but as children they are playful and adventurous. Centaurs are one of the few races in which all children are taught to read at a very young age. Centaurs are, by nature, a very curious race always trying o find out everything about everything.
