| The Beginning |
| Hello, my name is Victoria Harrington. I am the owner of VH Janitorial Services. I started my business in 2002. My past experience in janitorial work has involved construction, residential, warehouse, and office cleanup. I have had supervisory experience in the maintenance department in a warehouse. I decided to start my own business after some research with other janitors. I am presently looking to expand my business by accepting subcontracts with established cleaning companies. | Past Experience |
| The janitorial company that started me here, in the city of Edmonton, is Scandinavian Services. I have worked as a janitor in The Rosebowl Bar and Grill, Albert's Family Restaurant, and Kellogg Brown and Root. Through employment agencies I have worked in different areas of the city on construction clean up, warehouse clean up, as well as, fire and flood clean up. |
| Work, work, work |
| I started to seriously get into working on my new business this year. I asked alot of questions in regards to running a business like this with experienced janitors that I worked with. Boy was I in for a suprise. There is a lot of paperwork to deal with before you even get into the job part of it. I checked out most of my paperwork on the internet. Every day seemed to add more and more paperwork into it. Just recently, I decided to file all the paperwork. Wow, I was suprised. Now, I am still working on this website for my business.
