Velvet Thunder was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He didn't live a hard life, he was a very lucky person for this. At least up until he was around the age of eight, when his birth parents divorced. It was a hard change for such a young man. He had a difficult time adjusting. He started seeing a therapist. His mother re-married as did his father. There was some family problems that he did not disclose to me that led to his step-father taking him in as his own and adopting Velvet. Not, long after all of that, his mother was diagnostic with leukemia. This was very hard for Velvet to understand, for he was at a time in his life where he didn't take much serious. While his mother battled cancer, and as it became worst, he then realized that his mothers days were numbered and wanted to make the best of them. Velvet was under pressure due to his mothers condition, his on going fighting with his step-father, because the both of them were emotionally beside them self's. They didn't have any idea how to deal with it, so they constantly blamed one another for causing her to much stress, not knowing that the same stress they were trying to avoid, in arguing, they were causing. As her cancer progressed through the years, Velvet just ignored that she was ill.

Velvet Thunder attended Oak Grove High School in North Little Rock, Arkansas where he had lived the majority of his life. In high school he was an outcast. Him and his friends alike where judged and made fun of because they were different. Some people that Velvet went to school with would say that VT was a bully, but what they failed to understand is that Velvet was a bully to the bully's. He stood up for the nerd being pushed around, and for the poor kid that wore the same shirt all week, for the special ed kid that everyone laughed at. During this time Thunder had a rough reputation, but yet never fought with anyone. Velvet Thunder graduated from Oak Grove High School in May of 2004.

During high school, Velvet's birth grandmother past, and this brought him and his biological father back together. They became closer than they had ever been. His father turned out to be a big part of his life. Someone he could talk to, and not worry about it getting back to his parents. Velvet continued to carry the last name of his adopted father. His legal father didn't have to do what he did, by taking in this twelve year old kid and treat him like his own, and I will respect him for that for ever. Both of his fathers, played a big part in his life, he could rely on the both of them.
Velvet Thunder, right out of high school, got deeply involved with someone and started attending ITT Tech in the field of Computer Networking Systems. He was deeply in love with this person. They had planed to marry. While attending ITT Tech, he ran into some personal problems and dropped out. He regrets that decision every day. Velvet and his lover also ran into some problems, it just was not a good time in either of their life's and they decided that they were making the wrong decision, and decided to go their separate ways.
After the break up, he was torn up, and went into complete emotionally break down. Life became a game to him. He made some really bad decisions, and is still paying for his recklessness. Velvet made some really bad decisions towards his mother in the time in her life where she really needed him, and wasn't the son he could have been. Also during this time, his father got a divorce from his second wife. It was a hard time for his father too, and yet around this time, Velvet had almost lost all contact with his father. Needless to say, Velvet needed a reality check. Then out of no where, his mother got a divorce in a time of her life that she couldn't take the stress of a divorce. Not to much longer after that, her cancer became worse. The doctors had no idea how she had lived this long. Her time was short, and yet Velvet still didn't want to believe it. In this time in her life where she desperately needed him, he was not there for her because he thought that if he didn't see her then she couldn't be as bad off as everyone says, but he was wrong. Doctors told her she had less than a month to live. A miracle happened with the birth of Velvet's cousin which allowed his mother to use stem cell research to cure her cancer.

Shortly after that, he seen the light. He got closer with his mother. He tried to make up for the lost time, and tried to be the son so desperately needed the years before. Then a friend of his told him he should go and check out the wrestling show in Ward, Arkansas. He didn't go the first time he was offered, it took some convincing, but he decided to go and check it out. He had always wanted to be a Professional Wrestler but never knew how to go about doing it. Then after going for a few months, he heard about Dustin Starr training people there, and he thought he would follow his dream. Velvet Thunder got his tail kicked by Dustin Starr, Alex Krisis, and Alan Steel every week for about four months, to make the wrestler all you guys watch all around Arkansas in such cities as Newport, Bay, Truman, Ward, and also in Ripley, Tennessee.
