Enter Flamedramon (Episode 1)

It's been a very long time. In the Digital World, a mysterious figure, who calls himself the Digimon Emperor, attacks various Digimon and makes them his slaves by placing Dark Rings on them. In the real world, T.K. and Kari meets Davis, Yolei and Cody who appears to be the new Digidestined. Tai meets up with Agumon, but can't seem to digivolve, so Tai calls the kids for help. When they arrive, the Digimon Emperor sends Monochromon to attack them. Davis finds and picks up the Digi-egg of Courage and meets Veemon. By portraying his unique trait of courage, Veemon armor-digivolves to Flamedramon and breaks the Dark Ring on Monochromon and set him free. The kids then returned to the real world.

The DigiTeam Complete (Episode 2)

This time, Yolei and Cody joins up with Davis, T.K., Kari, Sora and Izzy to go to the Digital World. They were ambushed by the Emperor's slaves and Davis and Veemon were captured by the Digimon Emperor. Yolei and Cody finds the Digi-egg of Love and the Digi-egg of Knowledge in a ruined temple. They both meet Hawkmon and Armadillomon who armor-digivolves to Halsemon and Digmon and saved Davis and Veemon. Then, Veemon also armor-digivolves to Flamedramon and returned Snimon, Mojyamon and Drimogimon back to normal.

A New Digitude (Episode 3)

The Digidestined sees a television interview with Ken Ichijouji, a boy genius who is at the best at everything; soccer, computer programming and even video games! Meanwhile in the Digital World, the Digimon Emperor captures Elecmon with a Dark Ring and just then, the Digidestined arrived in DigiWorld! The Digimon Emperor finds out their presence and sends a group of Tyrannomon to attack them. Veemon, Hawkmon and Armadillomon all armor-digivolves and holds them off, while T.K. and Kari runs to a cave and finds the Digi-egg of Hope and Light. Patamon and Gatomon armor-digivolves to Pegasusmon and Nefertimon and drives the Tyrannomon away.

Iron Veggiemon (Episode 4)

The Digimon Emperor and his Veggiemon slaves took over a Digimon village where the Gazimon and Gabumon lives. The Digidestined came to help just in time. There was something strange, Gabumon couldn't digivolve! No matter how hard he tries, nothing happens. A miracle happens when one of the Veggiemon destroy a tall, black tower that was also known as a "Control Spire". Only then, Gabumon digivolve into Garurumon and free the Veggiemon. Now, the Digidestined realizes that they have to destroy all of the Control Spires so the Digimon Emperor can't take over the Digital World.

Old Reliable (Episode 5)

Gomamon is in serious trouble in the Digital World so he calls Joe and the Digidestined for help. The kids arrive and Gomamon tells them that they need to destroy the Control Spire in that area. While getting closer to destroy the Control Spire, the Digimon Emperor sends a group of Frigimon to attack them. The Digimon holds them off, but barely holding on. Gomamon wants to digivolve and help but he can't because of the interference of the Control Spire. Armadillomon armor-digivolves to Digmon and defeats Shellmon, but then Ebidramon shows up! The other armor Digimon destroys the Control Spire and Gomamon digivolves to Ikkakumon. Together, Digmon and Ikkakumon defeats Ebidramon and leaves the Digimon Emperor in disappointment.

Family Picnic (Episode 6)

Mimi arrives in Japan for just a short visit and to meet the new Digidestined kids. Then they've decided to go on a picnic in the Digital World. Upon wandering around, Mimi falls into another part of the Digital World and finds a Control Spire, then she suddenly meets up with Palmon. Meanwhile, the kids are worried and Yolei decides to look for Mimi. Once, Mimi and Yolei meet up, the Roach Bros. come and attack them. Hawkmon armor-digivolves into Halsemon and they tried to destroy the Control Spire so Palmon can digivolve and help. The Roach Bros. shatters the Control Spire by accident and Palmon digivolves into Togemon and sends the Roach Bros. away. Togemon decides to stay there and protect that area.

Guardian Angel (Episode 7)

The Digidestined are determined to overthrow the Digimon Emperor and restore peace to the Digital World. They travel to the Digital World to destroy more Control Spires when they were attacked by a group of Guardramon. Everyone except Kari was able to escape. Kari finds Andromon under the Digimon Emperor's control so she uses her D-3 to restore Andromon's memories. Andromon destroys the Dark Ring and the Control Spire and gains freedom. Now the Digimon Emperor is furious and determined to get rid of the kids once and for all!

Ken's Secret (Episode 8)

The Digidestined realizes that the Digimon Emperor is taking over the Digital World faster than they could prevent it. He's building more and more Control Spires and if nothing can be done, the Digimon Emperor will rule the Digital World. When the kids arrived in DigiWorld, the Emperor captures Yolei, Cody, Kari and T.K. Davis and Veemon escaped and when they and the other Digimon comes to rescue them, it turns out to be a sick joke created by the Emperor himself. The captive kids were actually Bakemon transformed. The Digimon armor-digivolves and destroy the Bakemon along with a Control Spire. Then, Davis found out that the Digimon Emperor is really Ken Ichijouji!

The Emperor's New Home (Episode 9)

Ken loses his sense and leaves home to live in the DigiWorld. There, he found Greymon and played a game of "Fear Throw" with him and captured Greymon with a Dark Ring. The Digidestined arrived in DigiWorld and was ambushed by a group of Meramon. The Digimon armor-digivolves and defeats them. Ken brought the captive Greymon to the kids while Wormmon told him not to. Ken tries to make Greymon digivolve to MetalGreymon using his Black Digivice. Instead, Greymon digivolves to SkullGreymon and attacks the kids and destroys the Control Spire. Things were getting out of control so Ken summoned an army of DarkTyrannomon to stop SkullGreymon, but it beat them all single-handed and gets drained out of energy and returns to Agumon. Ken re-captures Agumon and the others couldn't do anything about it.

The Captive Digimon (Episode 10)

Yolei doesn't feel like going to the DigiWorld so everyone else goes and she is left behind, cleaning her glasses. Ken attempts to make Greymon "dark-digivolve" into MetalGreymon, but he failed over and over again. Wormmon frees Agumon and Yolei instantly found out that Agumon was in Rail Town. The kids got there and rescued Agumon. Meanwhile, Ken realizes that the Dark Rings are unable to control fully digivolved Digimon, so he convert the ring into a cylinder shape and he created the...Dark Spiral! Ken meets up the kids and recaptures Agumon with the Dark Spiral. Tai tries to persuade Agumon that he is good, but it's no use. Yolei and Matt travels to the DigiWorld and helps the others to rescue Agumon.
