Tyra Alana Newman was born on July 20, 2000 at 6:01 a.m. to proud parents Robert and Ariane Newman. She weighed 7lbs. 8 oz. and measured 20" long. Wedding Bells!  Wedding bells chimed merrily by guests as Aneesah and Kevin were united in marriage on August 5, 2000! It was truly a joyous occasion! The weather was beautiful, sunny and bright, after previously experiencing days and days of rain. The bride looked stunning in an off-shouldered, beaded fashion gown and beaded headpiece. The groom was indeed handsome in an English-style white tuxedo with white vest. The bridesmaids were gorgeous in celadon green gowns. The groomsmen looked fabulous in their English-style black tuxedos, with green-patterned celadon vests. The flower girls were so cute in their white dresses with sequins. The hostesses and host looked great, too. Let’s not forget the father of the bride in his tux-looking good - as were the mothers of the bride and groom. It was a delight to have so many relatives and friends, from far and near, present to witness the joining together of this lovely couple by our relative, Rev. James E. Vaughn. In the warm décor of the Rosewood, delicious hors d’oeuvres, dinner, deserts and beverages were partaken by all. Various musical groups-something for everyone to enjoy-- entertained the wedding party and guests. Aneesah and Kevin thanked everyone for attending their wedding as they left the reception for their honeymoon, beaming as Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Thompson.
