The Homefinder Program helps you obtain a house even if you have trouble qualifying for a loan from normal sources. Many people are turned down for loans because of credit problems from the past, they are self-employed, or have trouble producing required paperwork.
We are not very concerned with these situations. We are more concerned with your current and previous jobs. Things like how long you have worked in each job, how much you earned, and how much you are now earning are important to us. We also will want to know how much you have been paying for housing, who you have been paying, and what your payment record is like. In addition, we will want some references from friends and relatives in the area.
Here is how the program works:
You fill out an application and a preference sheet.
We give you a list of houses to look at.
We price the houses for you.
If we agree on the pricing, we will bid to buy the house.
If we win the bid, we will arrange the agreed upon "rent to own" contract.
You move in.
