Mass Delete Mail
To delete a whole bunch of e-mail at once, click on the first mail to delete, hold shift, and click the last piece of mail to delete. Then hit delete and it's all gone.
Blind Carbon Copy (BCC)
To do a BCC, type the names as usual in the To: box, but put parentheses around each name. For example:
To: (Jenny),(Megan),(Liz)

To freeze someone's mail, supposedly you can either put in the "good ole" <.h3>*** (which they say doesn't work that well anymore) or the "deadlier" <.br>*** (which I'm told is what's used in the South Park Punter).

To expand your screen name in IM's, first have about a line and a half
of text in the body copy. (Should be all CAPS)Highlight your body copy
then hit your right mouse button. Choose Justification and drag to Full.
Then send.. Every letter of your screen name should be tabbed.
* When expecting a response, type <.a href>. What this will do is block
out the person's message to you. Their message won't show up on their
screen either. This will really confuse them. It can also annoy you
because you can here their message being sent to you through IM.wav.
* To have your font going up and down, type <.sub> After the letter you
want up don't forget to put <./sub> or the following letters will stay
up.
* To make letters spell out slowly, put <./html> in front of every
letter.
* To make a temperary freeze on AOL add the <.H3> code as many times as
you can fit them into the IM box. If you constantly do it, it'll toggle
their system it 'punt' them. To turn off IM's, type TO: $IM_off if this
happens to you.
* To make letters Jump up and down really fast, (two O's are a great
example to do), type OOOO, and fill the entire IM box up, and your
letters will hop.. *FIXED* To make them intensely hop (much better then
the first hop, but much slower) type this OOOO./html> and fill the
entire IM box
* To make a person says something they didn't say, copy their name into
your box and push enter about 6 times and write a message after it.
It'll appear as if 'they' said it..
* To add a hyperlink just drag the link from you Favorite Place to the
IM Box. To make up the name to click on type the code : <.a
href="address of the page"> ENTER THE NAME OF THE HYPERLINK TITLE AFTER
CODE.
* Are you tired of people sending you hyperlinks links in your e mail
and don't know what link it is well follow there steps. To read the
address of a hyperlink, highlight the hyperlink and copy it (Ctrl-C),
bring up AOL's writing box (Ctrl-N) and Paste it (Ctrl-V), then double
click on the hyperlink.
* Self Destruction. I've never fully tested this, but try it if you
want. Fill the entire Buddy Invitation with all CAPS and leave no spaces
in all three lines. Push Send and (1 out of 10 times), you'll be signed
off in 1 second with a very strange sign off message. I don't know if
you type the receivers name in and if it kicks you off, it'll kick them
off too.
*How to Change Rapid colors in IMs and Email. Just send this to who you
want to do it to.

*To punt with ims
1. Press CTRL+i .
2. Type in the name of the person you want to punt.
3. Type in a message so that you can make the other person respond to
it, Something like "HEY YOU!!".
4. When they Respond to it click RESPOND button.
5. Now get ready this is the hard part ,
Type in any letter , and keep your finger on that letter on the
keyboard and put your hand on the mouse and put it over the SEND button.
Now click SEND then type the letter again and click SEND and repeat this
process until a message
pops up and says "(SN) Is not currently signed on".
*To punt another way using IMs: In the message, type:

(Take out the periods if you want it to work)

3)To Type In The Middle Of A Line:
First press and hold SPACE then ALT next press 0160 on the numeric pad, and then press
about 10-20-30 times(depends where you want your message to start)type your message then press enter.
4) Double screen names- this takes some setting up but if u do it right the person could have a heart attack! Find a screen name with a capital I or a lower case l (L, not one).Now in aol these 2 letters appear identical! so all u have to do is create a screen name substituting the I of the l (L) or the l (L)for the I. and thats it! (also 2 v's can be substituted for a w). Then go to the person and say Hi, and whatch there reactoin
5) Private Room Bust:
1. Go to Favorite Places, click Add Favorite Places, for the Place Description type the room name, for the Internet Site Address: aol://2719:2-2-"Room Name". (note where it says room name put the name of the room). 2. You can also click on the Go To menu, Edit Go To menu, pick a slot. In the slot type aol://2719:2-2-"Room Name". Then afterwards Press Ctrl and the # slot you chose.
6) Members Room Bust:
Go to a room, click List Chats, click Member Rooms, click Find Room by Name, type the room name, click find, highlight the room, hold enter
7) KiLL Wait =. Get rid of the hourglass! Just click on Help 3 times (quickley) then click on about AOL then click it
1) Make it look like others are saying stuff that u want them to say! = first, type in what you would like to ask the person (Ex- are u dumb?) then press enter. 2nd, type the person's screen name in red bold lettering , make sure it is the right font size. Then putt the lettering back to normal size and color. Now tpye in what you want them to say (Ex- yes Iam). this can freak out dumb people!
3) To MakeYour Name Come Up Cool In An IM: Type about 1½ lines of text. Then highlight the text and click your right mouse button. Then Justification and choose Full. Send it. If you don't have a space in your name it will make your name have big spaces between each letter. If you do have a space in your name then it will make half of it on one line and the other half on the next! *Note this trick doesent always work
Trick's Manual IM Bomb I have found this way to be much faster as a
punter compared to some prog.To do this you must first understand that
most of AOL's buttons can be pushed by moving the mouse and pressing the
button or by pressing a Ctrl+enter command. This comes in handy for this
trick. To perform a manual im bomb you must for be imed by the person so
that the window won't go away. Once that is done and they have responded
type what you want the message to say and then highlight and press
Ctrl+C to copy the text. Now hold down Ctrl and press enter then V to
paste and enter again to send it and continue this process for as long
as you wish to punt the person. Now you can Im bomb someone faster
because you do not have to open a new IM every time. OTher IM Tricks
(HTML TRICKS)... ***Must use Where < > appears....this is HTML so others
might work!!! sends blank IM's until you cancel it....the other
person cant see what you type or who is sending the IM. (s) does a
strikethrough on all of the text $IM_off in the box where you would put
the screenname in the IM and sending it turns off your IM's . $IM_on
reverses this and turns them back on. EMAIL ME WITH YOUR COMMENTS...
jumping Letters
To make letters "jump up and down" in an IM, type the following: <.sub>OO<./html><./sub><.sup>OO<./html><./sup> ***
make it look like the other person said something they didn't . . .
copy their name from the box above and press enter about 6 times. Then make sure you set the reset the font size, color, and style. Then type something and it will appear as if they said it. If they don't already know this trick it will really freak them out.
Slow spelling
To make the letters spell out slowly, type <.html>*** in front of every letter. (I haven't tested this one so it may not work.)
Hopping text: Put a before your 1st letter, and a after the
1st letter. On the 2nd letter, put a before it and a after
it. For example just have a M E for ME to look
like ME.
Strikethru text: Put a before the word you want strikethru-ed, and a
after it.
Italic Text: Put a before the text you want italicized and a
after it.
Bold Text: Put a before the text you want bold and a after it.
Underlined Text: Put a before the text you want underlined and a
after it.
StrikeThru Text: Put a before the text you want strikethrued and a
after it.
Colorful Text: Put a before the text you want colored
and a after it. Replace red with the color you want.
Sized Text: Put a before the text you want sized and a after
it. Replace h1 with the size you want. H1 is huge, H2 is big, H3 is a
little bigger than normal, H4 is normal, H5 is small, and H6 is tiny.
To Sign On As A Ghost:
You have to be signed of. Go to The Mail Menu and click "Setup
Flashmail." Select "Expert Setup." Click "Select Names." Put in the
Password for your screen name.(The one you will use.) Click "Activate
Session Now." The menu will soon come up. Click "Sign Off When Finished"
and then continue. Sign on as normal; but hit "Cancel" right after it
dials. Sign on as normal again. this should complete the process and you
should now be a ghost.
