| Welcome to my website !! For those of you new to this site, let me explain the legend of the beefman. It was in February 1985 in Dallas when this whole thing began. I was on a business trip and was out to dinner at a famous steak house where the steaks are sold by the ounce. The biggest steak on the menu was a 50 ounce porterhouse, not to be outdone by anyone in the restaurant or in the state of Texas for that matter, I ordered and finished this monster.Little did I know then what would happen 10 years later.One morning during my long commute into work I was listening to Smith and Barber the Morning Show (a New Haven area radio talk show) when the hosts were giving Billy Wynn ( one of the show's characters) a hard time for not being willing to eat a 50 ounce steak !
