| AGONY AUNT OF STYLE Hey there peoplez, Lolly here, the agony aunt of style. I was tempted to use the word fashion but I think fashion is stupid.Fashion means nothing at all to us girls here at temptation. Fashion was invented by some irrational nutcase who wanted to decide what people should wear. Like Hitler wanting to control religion but much more minor. But are you gonna stand for someone telling YOU what to wear? If you are a strong-willed like Lolly and Ezzie then the answer is: definitely not! The deal with clothes is this: W.F.B.W. This is my motto on clothes. It stands for Want.Find.Buy.Wear. I`ll take you through those four simple steps of defining your own individual fashion. Step 1:WANT This is the most important one. You know what you wanna be dressed in. You have ideas in your head of exactly what you want. Not what other people want you to want but what YOU want. You might draw pictures or keep an image in your head of the gear you prefer and you wanna be dressed in. Step 2:FIND Sometimes the most difficult, a lot of the time what we want we can`t find or isn`t easy to find anyhow. So you have to shop around. You don`t go where people tell you to shop or say you should shop. You shop wherever you wanna be it, B`Wise or Macy`s its up to you! But finding exactly what you`re looking for is difficult so when you1ve found it, don`t let it go! Step 3:BUY This is dead easy. You simply delve into your purse, take out some money and exchange it for your outfit!Simple as that! Step 4:Wear This is sometimes hard and sometimes easy, depending on confidence levels. Some people buy it and then get into it straight away and wear it so much that they get outworn and tattered (like my 'dream jeans'!). And others think 'I love this but I don`t think I`d be the right sort of person to wear it' This item then lurks at the bottom of the wardrobe until you have outgrown it. Don`t buy it if you ain`t gonna wear it. Wear what you wanna wear and be proud. Think about it, while you worry about what people are gonna say about your clothes there`s people in the world wondering what they`re gonna do when they`re only ragged clothing gets ripped or too tattered to wear so be grateful and make sure people appreciate your own fashion and you appreciate their`s! I had this prob sent into me about style worries. Dear Lolly, I am obsessed with feathers. I love them and they look really hippy and great. But the thing is, my friends always say that feathers are "so last month". And they might be right, I can`t find any in any shops anywhere. Help me! Well, what I say is HOMEMADE IS BEST! So here`s how to make some simple feather accessories and add-ons! Feather necklace: This is dead simple. You pick a nice piece of string that you want or lace or thread or even a chain if you fancy it and threaqd on a few beads with a feather at the centre. You can get feathers from most bead shops and also from creativey sort of shops where they sell making stuff and all that. Feather hair-do: I love this one. You plait your hair however you want, any bit you want and then what you do it take a feather and poke the stick bit through the plait. On the other side, where it comes through, take a kirby grip and hold the feather in place, facing downwards. Put several in and it looks snazzy! Feather on your top!: This one rocks! Attach a feather to a piece string or cotton/thread securely.(Superglue works wonders) and then thread the string through the neck of the chosen top and use stitches to hold it in place. Then the feather should dangle down off the string whicb starts from the neck and should go down to about the bottom of your rib cage!It looks great! Feather belt: If you don`t wanna buy one, make one yourself. Take some very thick string and thread some interesting beads on it. Add some feathers along the way and then tie it around your trousers. Take some more string and attach it to the first bit on one of your sides, by the hip and off it dangle a few beads and a feather at the end. It`ll look jazzy!
