| In a shocking debut, Tazz decimates Kurt Angle |
Madison Square Garden was nearly shook to it's foundation this past Sunday night at the Royal Rumble when Tazz made his World Wrestling Federation debut! Former Olympic Gold idea what he was in for, as he began insulting his mystery opponent. New York came out strong for it's hometown hero, chanting "We want Tazz." The crowd roared when Tazz's symbol appeared on the giant video screens of the Garden, and the former ECW Grand Slam champion walked towards the ring in the most famous Arena in the world, he seemed unmoved, locked in intense concentration. He was no longer in ECW. It was time to make the same stand he made there, only greater. Tazz's time had come Angle got over his immediate shock and used his wrestling skill to try and keep Tazz on the defensive, but Tazz soon turned things around with a Belly to Belly Tazplex off the top rope, followed by several other Tazplex variations.Then, it was time to unleash he most dangerous weapon in the WWF. As Jerry Lawler screamed that it was illegal, Taz locked the Tazmission on Angle, choking him out and decimating his undefeated streak. The same move that had destroyed such stars as Lawler, Chris Jericho, Sabu, Shane Douglas, and Bam Bam Bigelow had claimed it's first WWF victim. The stoic Tazz walked to the Locker Room. His work was done. His dream of wrestling in the Garden accomplished. A whole new world to conquer at his feet. Tazz's statement to the WWF Superstars was clear indeed: "Beat Me If You Can, Survive If I Let You!"
