| Sorrow has hit this family with two deaths so close together. Mother and daughter die within two months of each other leaving many of us to grieve for both. |
We wish to painfully state that we lost a member of the family on October 29,2001. We lost Marcella Worden Perry. She died without warning of cancer. She will be deeply missed by her entire family. She was daughter of Doris Marie Swartzlander Worden Lemay, sister to many, wife of Jack Perry, mother of two daughters, and grandmother to five. She also left many other family members.
We have now lost Doris Marie Swartzlander Worden Lemay on December 20, 2001. She was 77 years old. She will be missed also. We do believe that her death was hastened because of the death of her daughter Marcella. This was not the main reason but it may have helped it along. Doris is pictured here with then City Councilman Carty Finkbiner, who went on to be the first strong mayor of Toledo,Ohio. After eight years, Carty stepped down Jan.2,2002. They were good friends.
Family information on the Swartzlander Family coming out of Pennsylvania into Ohio. Also pictures of the David Fredrick Swartzlander Family. Looking for members we don't know.
Our family starts with Johann Swartzlander who came to the U.S. and settled in Pennsyvania. I am going to start with my ggrandfather. Later I will fill in from the start.
