| This will be where I show off fan fics of myself and others. E-mail me if you want to have a fanfic up here. American Pokemon Trainers? This is by me. I wrote it at the pokegym's( http://pokegym.thedojo.com ) message board under the alias squirtle master. Chapter1 Tony woke up and stepped over his pokemon cards and game boy games. He turned on the TV and then he saw a news story about pokemon. The anouncer said that scientists had brought pokemon to America and that kids who where at least 10 could get them. Tony was real excited and decided to get one. 15 minutes later he was at the shop which carried the starting out pokemon and usefull items. Tony saw his friend George get a growlithe from the store owner. Tony walked up and asked, "Do you have a Squirtle in?" the worker answered, "yes we do, which one do you want?" Tony pointed to a Squirtle that was swiming and looked real cute. Then he got a pokedex and 5 pokeballs from the assaistant. He walked down the street and challenged George to a battle. Then, they readied their pokeballs, "Squirtle, I choose you!" Tony yelled. George threw a pokeball and said, "Go Growlithe!" Squirtle and Growlithe's figures appeared. Tony pointed his pokedex and learned that his Squirtle was at level 9 and knew the techniques Tackle, Shell Tackle, and Bubble. George started by saying, "Growlithe Flare attack!" Growlithe shot out fire and said, "Growlewwwwwlithe!" Squirtle bubbled at Tony's command. When Growlithe was paralyzed, Squirtle spun at with its shell tackle attack. "Growliiiiiiiii." It said popping up. Squirtle then finished it with bubble. "C'mon let's heal 'em!" Later on, Tony saw a Rattata, "Hang on! This ones a piece 'o cake! Squirtle Go!" "Squirtle, Squirtle." "Rrrrrrrrrrrrraatttatta!" Rattata's quick attack was stopped dead with squirtle's bubble. Then tony said, "Now that it's paralyzed it'll be easy, Pokeball go!" It shook once, twice, and then stopped shaking and made the sound PING! Chapter 2 "YES" Tony said, "I caught Rattata!" After Tony made an amazing catch he was joined by George and his friend Mike.Mike had gotten an Abra and was really serious. Then, Mike saw a charmander and decided to catch it. "Abra, I choose you!" he exclaimed. "Aaabbrraa!" "Charmander, Char!" "Abra psywhave!" A giant psychic wave surounded Charmander. Charmander then used the ember attack." "Teleportation" Mike said. Abra teleported away from the ember. Charmander, confused, didn't see Abra psyshock it, and became paralyzed. "Alright, Pokeball Go!" Mike yelled. It shook twice and then he caught it. Meanwhile, George had captured himself a Kakuna. Then, Mike and Tony decided to have a battle. Mike yelled "Abra!" and Tony shouted "Squirtle attack it." "Squirtle Shell Tackle" Mike was taken by surprise and didn't have time to use the teleport attack. Abra may be able to teleport, but it sure can't last a hit. "Abra, return." he said. Tony's pokedex said that Squirtle was now at level 13 and knew the withdraw attack. Mike sent out Charmander. Squirtle did bubble and ended the match. Mike and Tony shook hands. Then, Tony journeys off and discovers a Psyduck. "How cute!" He excalaims. "Gooooo Rattata!" "Rrrraaaatttaaaaattttaa!" "Psy eye eye!" "Rattata use your Bite Attack!" Psyduck is surprised and falls over. Then psyduck uses its headache attack! It acidently hurt itself. Tony picks up a pokeball and throws it at Psyduck. It immediately catches it. After healing his pokemon, Tony runs into a trainer. "How about a match?" He says overconfidently. Tony agrees and sends out his psyduck. The other trainer sends out Electabuzz! Tony says "I don't beleive it." Electabuzz thunder-punches and immediately faints Psyduck. Chapter 3 "Rattata, I choose you!" Tony yells. Rattata's ball spins and hits the ground. Rattata's figure begins to appear, "Rrraaaattttaatta!" it yells. "A rattata?" the other trainer says laughing. "That's child's play, Electabuzz repeated Thunder-punch!" "Bu-Bu Buzz!" it yells. After 3 thunder-punches Rattata is down! The trainer then says, "Don't make your Rattata fight Electabuzz any more, it's all out!" Tony says, "Shows what you know!" Then Rattata gets up, it glows! Then it grows bigger and its teeth shape outwards and move out of its mouth, "Rrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaatticcaaaaaaate!" it yells. "Amazing," Tony excalims, "it evolved into Raticate!" "Raticate, Hyper Fang!" Raticate quickly bites all the way through Electabuzz. Whithin 10 seconds, Electabuzz is on the ground. "I don't believe it, how could Electabuzz loose to your Raticate? Grrrr. Return, Electabuzz. Gooooooooo Hitmonlee!" He said. Then Tony said, "How are you getting all these rare pokemon? Raticate Hyper Fang!" Raticate quickly moves towards Hitmonlee and bites all over it. "Hitmonlee, Rolling Kick!" HItmonlee does a Rolling Kick. Raticate then uses its quick attack and Hitmonlee faints. "You won't be so luck this time little kid. Return Hitmonlee, Goooooooooooo Hitmonchan." "Hitmonchan, Chan, Chan!" "Mega Punch!" the trainer ordered. Raticate went flying when Hitmonchan used its Mega Punch attack. "Return Raticate! Go Squirtle!" Squirtle popped out of its ball. Suddenly an idea popped into Tony's head. "Squirtle, Shell Tackle! Aim for its eyes." Squirtle understood what its master was trying to do and began its attack. It pulled in its head arms, and legs and begun to spin towards Hitmonchans eyes. Hitmonchan had no time to react and was forced to get hit. Squirtle jumped down and then heard Tony say, "Squirtle, use your bubble!" Squirtle shot out bubbles at Hitmonchan, and Hitmonchan was slowed down, and paralyzed. Taking advantage of Hitmonchan being paralyzed, Tony shouted, "Squirtle, finnish it, another Shell Tackle!" Squirtle once again pulled in its head, arms, and legs and spun at Hitmonchan, knocking it out! "Yes!!!!!!!!!" Tony said and squirtle made a piece sign. "Return Squirtle!" He said. Then Tony ran into George and Mike while he was healing his pokemon. George's Kakuna had evolved into Beedrill and he had caught a Pidgey.Mike had caught a Venonat, and his Abra had evolved into a Kadabra! Tony then said, "Well I caught a Psyduck and Rattata evolved into Raticate! It happened while I was battling this guy wiht Electabuzz, Hitmonlee, and Hitmonchan! After my Squirtle beat his Hitmonchan it learned the water gun attack!" George then said, "Well I have been training my Pokemon by battling against wild Pokemon, after facing you I wasn't sure if I was ready for another trainer battle. But now I'm ready to challenge you, you up for it?" Tony responded by saying sure I am!" Tony chose his Psyduck and George chose Pidgey. Chapter 4 As Psyduck and Pidgey came out someone approached Mike on the sidelines. "Greetings," the stranger began, "my name is Jordan and my Pokemon are Bulbasour, Pidgeotto, and Butterfree." "Cool Pokemon!" George said. Then, they began the match. Tony started off, "Psyduck Fury Swipes!" Psyduck swiped at Pidgey 3 times causing a severe hit! "Pidgey get back with Gust!" Psyduck automatically used confusion and sent the gust back at Pidgey. Since it was Pidgey's attack, it wasn't very effective. "Psyduck Disable!" Suddenly, Pidgey couldn't use Gust. Embarrisingly, George said, "Gust is its only technique, Pidgey return. Go Beedrill!" Imediately the Bee Pokemon popped out. "Beedrill, let's show them your Twin Needle attack!" Psyduck got hit by both of Beedrill's needles and was KO'd! "Return! Go Raticate. Raticate Hyper Fang!" Raticate used its Hyper Fang, but Beedrill just glared at it and shook it off. Jordan gasped at the sight of Beedrill's excellent training. "Beedrill, use your Poison Sting!" Beedrill quickly dove at Raticate and used its stinger to inject poison in Raticate. Not wanting Raticate to be furtherly hurt by the poisoning, he returned it. Then he sent out Squirtle! "Squirtle, Water Gun." Tony said. Squirtle powerfully sprayed water at Beedrill, and because Squirtle was trained much better, and poison is put out by water, Beedrill fainted. George knew he had lost, as Squirtle would must certainly beat Growlithe. When he sent out Growlithe, Squirtle used its Water Gun, Growlithe was no match for Squirtle, and it was severley weakened. "Growlithe, now our training pays off, Flamethrower!" George exclaimed. Squirtle was toasted by the Flamethrower and both pokemon fainted at once because Squirtle managed a Bubble. "Congratualations, George! You did a great job training Growlithe!" Tony said. "Thanks, I was sure Growlithe was a goner though." George replied. Jordan reached for his pokeballs, "I challenge you to a match, Tony." "I accept" Tony replied, "Go Psyduck." "Go Bulbasour." Chapter 5 Jordan said, "Okay grass does good against Water." Tony replied with, "And Psychic does good against poison!" "Ok, Bulbasour start it off with a Razor Leaf!" Bulbasour shot out a bunch of leaves that quickly headed towards Psyduck. "Confusion Psyduck!" With his masters cue, Psyduck waved all of the leaves back at Bulbasour. "Buuuuullllbbbaa!" Bulbasour cried. Bulbasour exchanged a vine whip, while it hit psyduck, he used a psybeam. Both of them were KO'd! "Goo Butterfree!" Jordan yelled. "Raticate, I choose you! Raticate Super Fang!" With that Raticate jumped up, biting Butterfree, and draining half of Butterfree's HP! "Now you'll pay! Butterfree, Sleep Powder!" With Jordans words, Butterfree flew over Raticate, putting it to sleep. "Wake up Raticate!" Tony kept yelling, but it was no use. "Butterfree finnish it Confusion!" "All right! You've asked for it, Go Squirtle!" Tony yelled. Immediately Jordan responded with "Butterfree Sleep Powder!" "Noooooooooooooooo!" Tony yelled. Jordan continued, "Finnish it, Psybeam!" "Wait! Stop!" Tony interupted, "I don't want Squirtle to be hurt, Return Squirtle!" "Nice match Tony!" Jordan said. Train a little better and maybe you can beat me!" Tony decided to face Mike, and at the same time Jordan wanted to face off with George! "Ready when you are Mike! Go Psyduck!" Tony proclaimed. "Venonat Go." Mike yelled. Venonat stun spore!" Venonat jumped up and sprayed a spore like material over Psyduck, paralyzing it. "Now Venonat, Psybeam!" Psyduck wasn't majorly hurt since he resists other Psychic moves, and he became un-paralyzed. "Psyduck, BubbleBeam!" Psyduck sprayed Bubbles larger and more powerfull than the ones Squirtle used in its Bubble attack. Venonat was knocked back very far and was unconcious. "Return Venonat! Go Charmander." Mike said. Tony responded with, "Psyduck, It's weak against you, use your BubbleBeam!" The BubbleBeam was too much for any fire pokemon at a low level such as Charmander. "Return Charmander, Kadabra I choose you!" Psyduck then used its BubbleBeam. "Teleport" Mike said calmly. Kadabra teleported away, and Psyduck was confused. "Psyduck,behind you!" Tony shouted, but it was too late, Kadabra was using Psybeam. The waves were emited all around psyduck and he was too weak. "Return. Go Raticate! Raticate, Hyper Fang." Kadabra had no time to teleport, and Raticate easily beat it. "Nice match." Mike said. They watched as Jordan and George were still battling. Butterfree had just beaten Beedrill! "Growlithe, Flame Thrower!" George ordered. The Flame emited from Grolithes mouth was just too much for Butterfree. "Okay! You'll pay! Go Pidgeotto! Pidgeotto, Sky Attack." Pidgeotto flew up high in the sky and swooped down on Growlithe who was knocked back. "Pidgeotto, Finnish him. Powerfull Gust!" Pidgeotto created a whirlwhind that was too much for Growlithe. Jordan ran out and hugged Pidgeotto, "Great Job Pidgeotto, Great Job!" "Wow," Tony said, "He has too many tricks up his sleeve!" Tony and his friends George, Mike, and Jordan all had to go home because it was getting very dark. When Tony got in his room he released his Pokemon from their Pokeballs and put them in their mini-beds. "Good night! Squirtle, Raticate, and Psyduck!" Tony said before dozing off. On Tony's wall there was a picture of Squirtle, who had allways been his favorite. Chapter 6 Tony woke up and looked at his pokemon who were sound asleep in their beds. "Okay guys. Time to get up. All of you return now." Tony said half asleep. Then, suddenly Tony heard a loud noise."That sounded like George" he said. Tony grabbed his pokeballs and biked out to the park. He saw a teared up Tent, and George clenching a fist at a Machop. "That dumb Machop destroyed my Tent!" George roared. "Why don't you try and catch it?" Tony asked. George said, "Good idea, I will. Goo Beedrill! Beedrill! Poison Sting." Beedrill darted at it, but Machop grabbed its stinger at started to Karated Chop it. "Ok. Pidgey Razor Wind!" Machop was Knocked back and George threw a pokeball. It shook once, twice, and then PING!"Yes! Pokemon number 4. Huh? What's happening Pidgey? Its evolving." Pidgey glows white and grew bigger. "Pidgeoott" it said. "Pidgeotto, Pidgey's evolved form." His pokedex said. Then Jordan and Mike approached them. Jordan started out by saying, "I caught a Dratini and Bulbasour evolved into Ivysaur." Then Mike said, "My charmander evolved when I caught a Scyther. I had to spend lots of money to get some Ultra Balls." Then Tony saw a Diglet. His pokedex said that Diglet was 1 level from evolving. "All right! Psyduck, Go! Psyduck use your BubbleBeam!" Psyduck shot out his Bubble Beam at the Diglet. It was knocked over and it evolved before their eyes. "A dugtrio!" Tony said. "Okay Psyduck, Finnish it with Psybeam!" The beam shot out at Dugtrio who was knocked over. He threw a Pokeball and it shook once, twice, and PING! "Yeeeesssss! I caught Dugtrio!" George called up Tony later that day and said, "My mom got me some poke-items. She got me 2 great balls. She also got me a tele-scopey thing a majig." "Cool" Tony said, "Bye!" When Tony went to bed he made a new bed for Dugtrio. "Good night!" Tony said. Chapter 7 Tony,George,Mike, and Jordan were training their Pokemon against wild Pokemon. Mike's Charmeleon was battling a wild Fearow, and the other pokemon were battling weaker oppenents while they waited for a chance to face strong pokemon such as Fearow and Pidgeot. Tony's Psyduck found a heard of Growlithe and was attacking them with BubbleBeam. Jordan's Ivysaur was battling a wild Pidgeot. Then, George found a Fire Stone in his pocket. Growlithe decided that he wouldn't evolve untill he had learned all his moves. Mike's Venonat practiced Psybeam on a flock of spearow. Then George's Pidgeotto practiced on all of the wild Ponyta. Tony's Raticate used is Hyper Fang on Fearow. Mike's Scyther decided to use his Slash on Pidgeot, and Jordan's Dratini used its Wrap on a Diglet. Tony's Dugtrio then practiced its Dig on the wild Oddishes. Mike's Kadabra practiced Psybeam on a wild Pidgeotto. The rest of the day went on like this. Near the end of the day someone walked up to them and told them that the store was holding a tournament the next day. They all said that they would be glad to go to the tournament. George took all of them to the aquarium where his mother worked. They saw lots of water pokemon swiming in tanks. George's mother was feeding a Magikarp. Then George said "Look at that stupid Magikarp." Then Magikarp said, "Maggikkaarrrrppkaaarrpppkaarrrppkaarrp!" then it turns white and grows to a height of 21 feet. "Gyaaaarrrrraaaaa!" It called. "Gyarados, the Atrocious Pokemon. It is known to destroy entire cities in its rage." Tony's pokedex anounced. "You can each have a Magikarp, for the tournament!" That night Tony made a bed for his new pokemon Magikarp. "Good Night my pokemon." Tony said to his 5 pokemon. |
