RAW is WAR:
RAW was kind of messed up, because they taped a lot of it out of order. I am not sure how this will go
on TV, but this is the order it took place at the arena...
Edge took on D'Lo Brown in a decent match. PMS came down, and Terri jumped on the apron.
Somehow, she fell off, and it looked like it was D'Lo's fault. She held her stomach to go with that whole
pregnancy angle. Terri was stretchered out, and D'Lo looked worried.
Road Dog defended the Hardcore Title against Al Snow in a crazy match. Snow put the Head on the
ramp, and then hid behind the curtain and attacked RD when he came out. Snow put RD through a table
with a moonsault off the guardrail. Chairs and cookie sheets got involved. Snow got hiptossed through a
table by the stage. They went into the locker room, and then outside. I couldn't see what was going on
since I was at a bad angle to see the Titan Tron, but there was a lot of smashing going on. I guess in
the end Road Dog Tombstoned Snow outside and got the pin.
Mark Henry took on Goldust, and Goldust got DQ'ed for Shattered Dreams. Chyna came out with the
same woman from Heat, and said that her name was Sammy. Chyna said her night with Mark was
incredible, but she wasn't enough women for Mark, and Mark was too much man for her. She said that
she and Sammy had something for him, and Mark fell down in excitement. It looked like Sammy was
really a man, so we'll see how that plays out.
They shot the RAW opening, which I assume will go before the matches taped before, and showed last
week on RAW when Michaels Superkicked Vince. Vince came out with the Corporation and said that
Michaels had threatened to show up tonight. Vince warned that anyone who disrespects his son would
pay. Shawn comes out, and then brings out DX! HBK says that Vince can't fire him from his role as
Commissioner because he has an iron clad contract, and HBK isn't going to resign. HBK says he has
control over every WWF superstar except Austin, and makes Vince #2 in the Royal Rumble! HBK says
that he is leaving to go get a suprise for Vince, but he will be back within two hours with something that
will drive Vince "Stone Cold"!
In a non-title match, Ken Shamrock took on Steve Blackman. Dan Severn came down in his neck
brace, and Shamrock punched him. Billy Gunn runs down and hits a Rocker Dropper on Shamrock, and
Blackman gets the pin.
Mankind came out for an interview, and said that he he had learned a few things about himself in recent
weeks. For the first time, he grabbed a man's testicles, and in a lovely-manly kind of way, he enjoyed it.
It was the first time he used the words "suck it" without "please" in front of them. He has made a hobby
of kicking the McMahon's asses. He asks for a title shot at the Rock at the Royal Rumble. He says that
he sees signs that say "Foley is God", but they must have forgot a letter because it should say "Foley
is Good". Vince comes out and says that Mankind has wasted his opportunities, and doesn't deserve a
title shot, and he hasn't paid his dues.(Yeah right, nobody has paid their dues like Foley!) But because
Vince is a benevolent individual, he will givew him a chance to enter the Royal Rumble...IF he can beat
Triple H later tonight, with Shane McMahon as the referee. Whoever wins is in the Rumble.
The Godfather comes out with four ho's to take on Test. It ended up in a double countout, I think, with
Val Venis getting involved. It was pretty bad.
They had us cheer for 30 seconds, so that is probably the beginning of the second hour of RAW.
It's time for Triple H vs. Mankind, with Shane as ref. Triple H goes for sunset flip off the apron, but
Mankind holds the ropes. Shane kicks Mankind's hands and registeres a FAST three count. HHH says
that business is business, and a win is a win, and he will take it anyway he can get it. He says Happy
New Year to Shane, and then hits him with the Pedigree! He says that he is all Mankind's. Mankind
says he is going to break Shane's shoulder off, and puts him in some sort of hold. Vince and the
Stooges came down. Mankind no longer wants a shot at the Royal Rumble, he wants it TONIGHT, and
he wants it to be NO DQ! Shane agrees, and the Rock ain't happy!
Kane comes out with the Stooges. The are messing around with him, and put a sign on his back that I
couldn't read. Shane comes out as ref again, and says it is a handicap match...Kane vs. BRISCO AND
PATTERSON! Vince says that they are responsible for Shane's emotional scarring. Kane will make
them pay. Patterson offers Kane candy, and then a chair to sit on, but Kane choke slams them, and
then crotches them around the ring post. He grabs Shane around the throat, but Vince tells him to let
go. Kane is the winner, and leaves as the Stooges fight each other.
Some fans started chanting "Goldberg". When Earl Hebner got in the ring, he did some DX crotch chops
to them and told them to Suck It!
It's main event time, Mankind vs. The Rock, no DQ for the title. DX comes down with Foley, and the
Corporation comes down with the Rock. Most of the match was outside the ring, with ample use of the
stairs. The Rock hit the Rock Bottom through the announcer's table, and then the Corporate Elbow in
the ring, but Mankind kicked out at two! Bossman distracted the ref, and the Rock nailed Mankind with
the belt, but Mankind kicked out again! Mankind hit the Double Arm DDT on the belt, but only got two!
Mankind whipped out Socko, but Shamrock jumped in the ring and cracked Mankin with a chair! A brawl
outside the ring between DX and the Corporation erupted. GLASS CRASHES!! STONE COLD! Austin
comes down and cracks the Rock with a chair. Mankind makes the cover and the ref crawls back in the
ring! 1....2...3! MANKIND WINS!! MANKIND WINS THE TITLE!!! The crowd is going nuts. Road Dog
announces the NEW WWF World Champion, and Foley dedicates the win to his kids! A huge "Foley"
chant starts up, rivaling any "Austin" chant ever. Road Dog holds up a "Foley is God" sign, and Mankind
does the DX chop. Triple H says DX is leaving so Mankind can talk. He talks about his kids watching
him go off the Hell in the Cell with his tooth hanging out his nose. He talks about the WWF showing too
much cleavage, and everyone using bad words, even him, and says the belt is for his kids. He says "Yo
Adrian, I did it!". He tells everyone to drive home safely, and have a nice day! There are more "Foley"
chants as the crowd files out!

SUNDAY NIGHT HEAT:
The New Age Outlaws came out for an interview. Road Dog messed up and said "last night"(meaning
RAW), and then said "check that, last week". That should be edited. Road Dog challenged the Rock to
a match, but the Rock turned him down because he is not a worthy challenge, and has to pass the
Test. Billy Gunn challenges Ken Shamrock, but Shamrock turns him down.
George the Animal Steele beat Mosh with a rollup after Kurrgan distracted Mosh. It was basically three
minutes of stalling. The Oddities now get a shot at the Headbanger's fake tag titles that they carry
around.
Triple H beat Mark Henry with the Pedigree. Chyna and another woman stood at the top of the ramp and
distracted Henry, allowing HHH to hit his finisher.
Val Venis beat Christian with the Money Shot, but got a bloodbath from the Brood afterwards.
Jeff Jarrett and Owen Hart beat Ken Shamrock and Big Boss Man in a non-title match. Debra distracted
Boss Man, and put his hand on her ass, and Jarrett got the rollup for the pin. Shamrock wasn't happy
with Boss Man.
Road Dog took on Test in the Heat main event, with Mankind doing commentary. Road Dog apologized
for last week's RAW when he beat Mankind with Rock's help, and he allows Foley to play Billy Gunn for
his intro. Foley says "If you're not down with the fact that Road Dog is a damn good Hardcore
Champion, then I've got one word for you... SOCKO!" Road Dog hit Test with his Pumphandle Slam
finisher, but the Rock ran in for the DQ. Mankind made the save, and they brawled as Heat went off the
air.

With Hogan retiring, Kevin Nash and DDP are taking over booking duties backstage. With Nash at the forefront, could kliq buddy Triple H be on his way to WCW? Triple H's contract expires within the next year (some are reporting that it may be as soon as six months), and Micasa is reporting that there is speculation that the former Intercontinental Champion may be more willing to sign with WCW with Nash in a position of power. I still don't see it happening though.
WCW is trying to get the Giant to re-sign with them to a tune of $2.9 million for three years, however it is still expected that the Giant will jump ship at the beginning of the new year. Meanwhile, it is expected that Chris Benoit will leave WCW when his contract is up.
