The allstar break is over and the playoff race is HEATing up. Yes, believe it or not, I think that the Heat are going to the finals. They got the duo, Shaq and Wade and they're on fire. For the west, i'll go with the spurs for the finals.i also predict the Timberwolves will get a 6, 7, or 8 seed in the playoffs. But, it's those teams with the young stars and Fit veterans that will go all the way. Shaq will go for MVP again and He will fall just short of a ring. Thats my prediction. If you have a pick for the chamions or MVP, please send us a comment in the guestbook, and we will compile an article about the finals picks later in the season. -Nman |
OK, so Josh Smith won the slam dunk contest. I was counting on Amare to win it, but he seriously needs some ideas. Sure, the alley-oops from Nash are cool but what about some dunking? I mean he could be doing something really nice with all his talent but he counts on Nash to rack him some points. Thats just lame. Josh deserved that all the way. Besides, he really had no competition. Chris can't make a dunk and J.R is not creative enough. Next year i'd like to see some real competition. -Nman |
Amare should have won the slam dunk contest. Yes he should have beaten Smith. I mean, what's more entertaining a windmill, or a kick up for a dunk? So Josh Smith pays respect to Dominque Wilkens. Who's Dominque Wilkens? if you're with me please talk to me, put a message in the guestbook. I whould like to end with one thing.
EDDIE JONES 4 MVP

Quentin Richardson won the three point shootout. I'm still in shock. He had like, 2 shots in by the third cart and was still trying to find his rythym. I said there was no way he would win the contest. That was when he went on a shooting spree and totally erased my phrase. I still thought voshon Lenard might beat his score of 18 as Quentin scraped by Korver's score. But, Voshon came up 1 moneyball short. How much can you expect from an injured guy anyway?

Alright, there's the all-star game. Sure, AI won MVP but seriously, only 15 points??? Man that's pathetic he got 10 assists and 5 steals too, thats cool but, the MVP should at least have some points. I'd like to see an MVPwith at least 30 points. anyway the east won, which is also pathetic for the west. Oh well, East deserved a win for a change. Vince had a sweet dunk and that made up for the low point scoring. And, yes ryokan, we do play the game. -Nman |
The Cwebb trade will not really effect my predictions. Cwebb is getting old and keeps getting injured. Boston will probably win their division. those where the biggest trades. I am dissapointed(me being a twolf fan) that they did not trade away spree. My playoff picture stays basically the same with boston getting their first round victory. -Nman |
My Playoff picture 1.0 ok so now im really going to give you a real playoff picture. The west will go San Antonio 1st seed then Phoenix will get the 2 seed.3rd will will go to Seattle 4 seed to Dallas.5 to Sacramento, 6 to Houston. 7 seed will go to L.A Lakers only because of experience.Last in 8 seed the Minnesota. Now the east 1 to Miami,2 seed to Detriot.3 to Phily, then 4 will go to Chicago. 5 seed to Cleveland and 6 seed to Washington. 7 to Boston and 8 seed to Indiana beating Orlando in a tiebraker. So San Antonio will Cream Minnesota, Phoenix will beat L.A Lakers. Houston upsets Seattle and Sacramento beat Dallas. Then Sacramento beats Phoenix. San Antonio beats Houston. San Antonio beats Sacramento in the confrence finals. On the other side Miami beats Indiana, Detroit beats Boston. Phily beats Washington. Then Chicago pulls the big upset on Detroit and Miami beats Phily. In the confernce finals Miami just barely beats Chicago. But Miami loses in the finals to San Antonio. M.V.P Should go to Eddie Jones joking again it goes to Shaq |
