The bride, daughter of Mrs. Ethel Gilmore, Coatesville, RD 2, is a 1965 graduate of Scott High School and a member of the September 1966 graduating class of Franklin School of Medicine. She is also the daughter of the late Jesse R. Gilmore. The bridegroom, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Simmers, is a 1962 graduate of Scott High School. Forks of the Brandywine Presbyterian Church was the scene of a wedding, last Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, when Miss Isabel M. Lynch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd W. Lynch, Coatesville RD2, became the bride of Mr. Donald C. Simmers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence M. Simmers, Coatesville RD1. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Richard Bunting, pastor of Wagontown Union chapel. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents at Sandy Hill for about 300 guests, after which the couple left for a two week motor trip. When they return they will make their home with the bride's parents. Mrs. Simmers was graduated from Scott Senior high school with the class of 1949 and is employed by the Producer's Cooperative Exchange. Mr. Simmers, also a Scott High school graduate, class of 1948 was recently discharged from the service and will be assistant to the manager of the local S. S. Kresge store.
