| myself and a couple of freinds tend to get about the country quite a bit walking and just getting away from it all,
I will within this web-site give accounts on what was good and what was not so good.
I will endevour to make it light hearted and funny dependant on where we go and how far we walk,
we avarage between 8 & 16 mile walks over all sorts of terain, we have done "Monroe's" to you who know this is no easy feat,
in my earlier years I have scaled Ben Nevis,Snowdon & Benn McDuie,Scarfell pike has always evaded me as whenever we plan to go something goes wrong, last time the bloody car burst into flames.... not being superstitous but we feel it is not meant to be.
in 2004 I took the Kids to walk the West Highland Way & picked the only week possible that the highlands was flooded, we made it to day three and could go no futher.
