Actually fall asleep for about an hour and then the phone starts ringing. Now you would think, Pete why don't you shut the dam thing off. Well my theory is what if someone really needs me ya know what im saying. So my phone rang constantly from 12:00 pm to about 3 pm. Alot of agravation let me tell ya. The highlights of today tho, Karl is getting another Vette. This one will be a 1975 stingray with the L82 engine in it which is a rare engine. Only about 3200 of those were made. So Karl just needs to get a loan approved and its his. Also today Cable got his appendix taken out, poor kid. So naturally being the concerned friend went to go visit him to ensure that all was well with him. He is doing alot better than he was the past few days. So they expect to hold him for a couple days to let him heal up. Ill talk more bout this later tho, peace Saturday August 27th, 2005 5:35 pm Friday and Saturday so far have been exhausted. Friday i had to go down to Melvin, IL. For those of you who think you've seen the classic hick town, let me tell you, this is picture perfect hick town. Down there they honestly talk like they live in mississippe or alabama. its utterly ridiculous let me tell ya. Once me and Cable were done down there we traveled up to Valpo for some football and so i could hang out with Sammy for the first time in a week. It was worth every second down there. I missed her alot through the week. Once she was in for the night we then headed down to Purdue for some partying that i didn't take prt in cause i was tired off my ass. I ended up staying up at shanes and falling asleep. Come on now i know i should have partied but seriously folks, i had 4 hours of sleep in 2 days so i was due for it. Tonight i got Bob's party to go to so that means a whole lot of Madden and drinking. I prob will drink a beer, two at most. I really am not much of a drinker, however, the occassional drink is fine and dandy. You just gotta watch yourself. That and Joe told me about a Red WS6 Trans Am for $7000 and god am I comtemplating going after it. But hey gotta scidadle cause i got people to see and places to go, Peace Homies Wednesday August 24th, 2005 9:30 pm So here i am, once again, updating my website, can't deny it, can't pretend, you really now can read, whats goin on, once again. So yes my life is sorta on track. Moving back in with rents which sucks, however a better financial decision for myself. Going out to valporaiso, IN alot due to my new found love out there. Valpo is so much better than it is here just due to the fact that i have peace and quiet out there on top of the fact that its simply beautiful there and i can go to the beach more. Been working alot lately and am about to start up school once again. Whats good is that come next fall, no matter what i will be in some 4yr school wether it be Purdue, IU, Ball State, Columbia, or Ohio State. As long as im focusing on my future. I'll give ya'll more info tomorrow. Right now i just wanna chill so lata Monday april 4th, 2005 9:16 am Shows Shows Shows, thats what my weekend consisted of. Friday was the one day i didn't go to a show. Hung out with Bob and went to ashbarys to play some strip poker on the touch screen with hot chicks and one hot guy. There was some metal bands playing upstairs with one local irish ska band which was good for the one song i heard them play. Saturday went to the bottom lounge on the northside. Some awesome bands played including Holy Roman Empire which are a good indie band, Army of freshman - these guys kick ass cause they got keyboardists and a dude who just sings and does some light rapping. They had an energetic show. Next came Split Habit, these guys are always a great band to see. last came Swizzle Tree which rocked the house. I saw these guys down at U of I back in November and they kicked ass then, i was able to score a cd from the guitarist for a dollar and a meat wadd air freshener that i found on the ground. It was hilarious, he was just like, you will make our van smell good thank you thank you. Sunday went to the command center which turned out to be a guys house. The bands that played were The Rushmores - i always enjoy seeing them play, South Bay Bessie - Good band from Flint, MI that had a really good beat. Then the Modern Machines played and they had a good show as well, the lead singer was talking alot between songs and was really drunk, someone kept throwing empty beer cans at the drummer throughout their set and that was pretty funny. All and all great weekend and i even got to catch up on some sleep this weekend between all the excitement. Adios Thursday march 31, 2005 11:36 Pm Well this week so far has been for the most part pretty nice. Ive been chilling at my house, not to be mistaken with my apartment. Ive been there cause my mom is in florida for this whole week so theres been alot of peace and quiet which is very nice. The week as far as weather has been more than wonderful with the 55 tuesday and the 70 degrees on wednesday. Bout dam time spring came right. Well bad news, it will be april tomorrow and that means the start of rain season. you know what they say, april showers bring may flowers. monday was nice tho, went to robs place, he gave me some bass lessons so i can continue to become a kick ass bassist. When that was said and done i stopped by NIkki's place and chilled there for a while. She showed me the nice hole her bf made in the door of their bedroom while he was drunk and stoned. I told her to be careful and not let him near any bud or bud for a while. tuesday was flat out boring. Wednesday just played alot of mortal kombat during the day and then halo all evening and night. My halo addiction is slowly increasing along with my rank. Im at an 11 now, GO ME!!!. Today was boring and tomorrow is a DJ meeting at 1PM and after that pretty much nothing. So call me with any ideas. Im out Saturday march 26, 2005 9:30 AM Went to a local show last night in arlington heights. This was about an hour drive and turned out to be worth the it. The bands that played there were breaking back, 88 Mph, Felix Culpa, Much the Same, and The Phoenix Rising. I went for Much the Same and Alli went for The Phoenix Rising. Turns out that 88 Mph really kicked some ass for a borderline Screamo band. So i had to go pick up their EP. So bought that and got some good standing seats for Much the Same. They had a good show except for some minor interuptions. The Phoenix Rising most definatly made the night for me with their flawless show. I like them a hundred times more now after seeing them live. Got to take to Jenn, the bassist about shit so that was cool. going to a local show at Mojoes tonight. There should be some quality bands there and cover is only $6 so if you got nothing to do i would suggest checking it out. Laters =) Tuesday March 22, 2005 7:00 PM Well this weekend is most definatly worth talking about. Saturday was somewhat interesting, went downtown to DJ for the easter egg hunt for lincoln park. I like these gigs a whole lot because usually a downtown gig means lakefront so that is always good. Plus this gig was outside so that was a big plus. Lets see saturday night me and the Dj group stayed in a motel room to prepare for a paintball trip on sunday. Sunday comes and we play paintball with an army of darkness theme in it. Seven hours of paintball was pretty crazy. have fun yall Friday March 18, 2005 11:00 AM Drop it like its hot, drop it like its hot. What up peoples, well St. Patty's Day was most definatly a good time and i touched not one drop of achohol. Went to the 5th Wall/Split Habit show at MoJoes. The show was badass, i had never heard of 5th Wall before last night and i gotta say that they totally rock. Same goes for Split Habit. The other band, Ryans Hope, was ok, however, not comparable to 5th wall or split habit. Monday was awesome too, had the close group of friends over from highschool and it was kinda like a reunion which was just fuckin awesome. The list goes Nikki, Torrence, Mari, Carl, Cable, Steve, Kristen. It was really nice to see the old group. Hopefully today theres a good amount of people over at my place,lots o gaming and drinking going on tonight, oh yes. Now for some pics from the show last night    Sunday March 13th, 2005 1:50 Pm Aight well i still can barely talk after the boring festivities of last weekend, this weekend went a little better. Well friday i basically chilled all day and didn't go anywhere at all until about 9 pm when i had some people from work come over for a little social drinking. Bob and Joe were also here which i was happy to have over cause those two can bring alot of life to the party. Shawn from work decided he wanted to be the official shit talker for the evening and talk on the headset while joe played halo online. It was hilarious to here some of the things this guy had to say. I told him he should do standup anfter hearing a few of the things he said to the competetion online. I sat and showed the rest of the gang a game called leisure suit larry, which if you've never heard of this game before, go out and buy it, its quite possibly the most perverted game out there. Before you go calling me a sick perv for playing this game, i want to tell you that Dans mom was the one who introduced me to this game so there. the guys loved the game and vowed to go out and grab a copy of this game to play at home. Saturday was nice as well, sat around for the morning and part of the evening hours online and then went out cause i had to DJ. This gig turned out to be pretty nice because Nikki and Jenny ended up being there and kept me company and danced with me alot while i was playing their favorite music. So when all was said and done with that i headed home to find a huge Dungeons & Dragons game going on in my living room. Now that game is cool and all but just isn't my thing. So i chilled and talked online while watchig a movie called The Girl Next Door which is an awesome movie. But thats the low down for the weekend and Spring Break is this week so call me up with any crazy shit to do. Peace my Peoples Tuesday March 8th, 2005 12:34 PM This weekend was the biggest waste of time ever. The timeline goes friday DJing for the village of justice. Saturday i had to be at Arlington Race Track all day for the Mcdonalds Childrens Expo for the Dj company, i was there from 9 am to 7pm and had to be talking up our new part of te business which is a party warehouse. the party warehouse is where you get to custom build your own birthday party from scratch. The concept is cool, i just don't want to spend 10 hours talking about that to people. Sunday comes along and i had to do the same thing as saturday. I had a break tho, it was only from 10 to 6 this time so 2 hours less. Still tho thats my whole beautiful weather weekend gone to shit right there. The worst part was that im working on commision for this so i only get payed for those 18 hours of work if someone books something and says its from the childrens expo. So im not a happy camper for this reason alone. Hopefully this weekend should be better cause i don't have to DJ at all and people are coming over friday and possibly hanging out with alli saturday which would be awesome cause i haven't seen her in two weeks. Im out for now peace Thursday March 3rd, 2005 6:01 p.m. Well shit i haven't made an entry in here for pretty much a year, sorry bout that. Yea lets see, i don't work at blockbuster anymore. I now work at UPS and live at my own place which is fucking awesome. If you ever want to chill, call my ass up. i own a grandam now which is nice and ive been playing lots of halo lately. Today i picked up the new goldfinger cd. Its a good cd so i suggest going out and picking it up. This past weekend was actually pretty nice. the breakdown is this, friday was a blast, had some people over and chilled, then went cosmic bowling to bout 3 different bowling allies cause deciding wasn't the easiest of tasks. Got home around midnight and passed out. Saturday got up and layed around till 3 when i picked up ali for a day of hangin out and going to see a local show at sam's house. The show was good, i saw this band called The Rushmores. They were phenominal and are having another show in april so if you like local punk i highly recommend you seeing them. Thats it for now, look for more later. Adios Tuesday March 9th, 2004 1:16 p.m. This weekend is definatly worth talking about. Friday i got all my important shit done in school which means all my art stuff so im happy bout that. Friday nigh after work i headed up to the poolhall thanks to Jt who picked me up. Met up with everyone and played a little to warm up. Marlene and Sarah showed up and just made the night complete. So everyone was up there. i played 2 cash games and came out a $1 up. Not much but atleast i didn't lose money. Saw Carl and Rob up there. For some reason these two were there with Sam Peirson and James Tailor. So i avoided that whole situation. After winning my money, me, jt, marlene, and sarah watched a few cash games and decided to go back to bobs for some drinks and nintendo action. Im pretty rusty but marlene definatly knew her shit about mario 3. Jt showed off his skills in Punchout. Noone knows this game better than him. Saturday was boring cause i worked till 1:15 a.m. and sunday i worked and then jt and marlene being the awesome people they are came and picked me up from work and brought me to the poolhall for a little action. monday was boring, i can some up yesterday in 2 words, school......work. Talked to marlene for a bit online and decided to update my page cause it needs it real bad. But now im in Architecture class and the bell is about to ring. gotta make out of here. Laterz, Have Fun Thursday March 5th, 2004 11:51 p.m. My car is wrecked!! This is not a good thing at the moment. So let me tell you how it all went down. Im coming home from the poolhall to go to work. Im about a block away from the light and it turns green. So at this point there is no need to slow down. Well i get closer to the light and i suddenly realize that noone has moved for some odd reason. So then i hit the brakes and hydroplane and crash right into the backend of another car. I went today to look at the car and im telling you, this is hurting like a mother. Total damages are 3500 for my car. Then on top of that 2500 for new air bags. Come on now, they are fucking air bags. So my car is guraranteed totaled. So now i am on the hunt for another Explorer cause i really like explorers. So in time ill be back on the road and 150% more catious. I can't tell you how paranoid i am going to be on the road now. Good lord. So i was hitting up the poolhall today and marlene being the sweet person she is, drove me up there which was awesome, thnx a bunch doll. I basically watched as Bob made his shot better. This guy has been trying extra hard and its now starting to show. Friday is definatly going to be a good night for me, after work, probably going to the poolhall for a while then over to bobs for a little cooking strategy, it will definatly be good times. Yea thats sick, i gotta save up for a car and here i am going to the poolhall. Ill definatly have a good update for tomorrow, just a little shaky from the whole losing the car thing. Laters HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!! Tuesday March 3rd 2004 1:02 a.m. Ok ok, im sorry for not having a post up on this site for 5 days, ive ben pretty busy. So heres the weekend wrap up, friday night was spent at the poolhall after i got off work from the "V". Working there was cool cause i saw a bunch of people i haven't seen in forever. So anyway shot pool then went to bobs house for some drinking, all good times. Passes out. Saturday, got up and headed first out to NIU to pick up someone then i went on to Milwaukee to Marquette University. That was a blast cause where i was at was right next door to the Milwaukee version of the house of blues. Pennywise and Guttermouth was playing there so it was all good times. although, right between the transition between Guttermouth and Pennywise, my friend Sam took off his 21 and over drinking bracelet of which was made of paper and chucked it at the stage moment before Pennywise went on and noone was on stage yet. Somehow tho he got kicked out for that bullshit so me and the rest of the friends decided that if he goes, we go. Thats right Blackhawk sticks together BLHK-G!!!!. So Naturally 30 minutes into the show, a huge fight breaks out and cops come on in to stop the madness. I even warned the security guards before Pennywise went on and we got kicked out. That this portion was gonna be nuts. Security did not understand why. Apparently they don't know what happened at Tweeter Center a few years back. Here's the story for all of you who don't know. Pennywise was playing at Tweeter and people wanted to mosh but seats were in the way. So the fans decided to rip out the first three rows of seats and create a mosh pit. All security got their asses beat. From then on Pennywise was banned from Tweeter. Fun times. security at this place was standing in the crowd to stop moshing, But the crowd got really pissed and a huge fight broke out over this and all the security got their asses kicked. So we were all watching this from a balchony and drinking. good times. So that was said and done, came home Sunday and went to work. Same shit for Monday and today. Tomorrow should be interesting. Laters Thursday February 26th 2004 10.26 p.m. WENT TO SCHOOL AS USUAL AND MAN WAS THAT A TIRED 6 HOURS. MY PHOTO PROJECT IS SLOWLY COMING TO A CLOSE AND IT IS GOING TO LOOK SO PROFESSIONAL THAT YOUR GOING TO THINK IVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS. AFTER SCHOOL I WENT HOME SHOWERED AND SHAVED, YES I ACTUALLY SHAVED, ITS AMAZING. WENT OVER TO JT'S HOUSE WHERE MUJ WAS ALREADY CHILLEN AND WE WATCHED SOME AGRESSIVE WORLD SERIES POKER. KEN GAVE US A CALL AND WE BURNED SOME TIME UP AT ASHBERYS BEFORE HEADING UP TO THE POOLHALL WITH THE LADIES. NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE ALL THINKING, WHAT HAPPENED. WELL LET ME TELL YA THE STORY. WE GET THERE AND THEY ARE ALREADY THERE AND WE STARTED PLAYING POOL AS PLANNED. AT FIRST THEY ARE KIND OF QUIET CAUSE THEY |
