Defeating Emerald WEAPON
To defeat the first of the American creatures, you must have the following requirements:

All party members level 50+
All members have level 4 Limit Breaks
Counter Materia (not purple Counter Attack Materia) paired with Mime Materia
All party member's best weapons
W-Summon Materia (64,000 Battle Points at Gold Saucer-Battle Square)
Knights of the Round Materia(2 stars to make W-Summon effective) paired with HP Absorb Materia
Final Attack Materia paired with Phoenix Summon

Now, use the submarine and find Emerald Weapon roaming the ocean floor near Junon. He'll either be sitting on a crater, swimming around, guarding the crashed plane, or sitting around the sub that had the Huge Materia. Out of battle, Emerald WEAPON looks like a giant green robot.
BATTLE STRATEGY:
If your Limit Breaks are ready at the start, use them to cause lots of damage. After that, use Knights of the Round with W-Summon to use it twice. Then, have everybody else Mime the character to cause an endless chain of KOTR(Knights of the Round). Whenever the character with the Counter Materia gets hit by the WEAPON, they'll cast 2 more KOTR, adding to the other KOTR that are already in progress. After about 5-12 KOTR attacks, Emerald WEAPON will die. Using this method, Emerald only got to hit me with one attack called Emerald Shoot. Using this method, you should never die because every time KOTR is used, you will gain back all (or most)of your HP. Even if you die, Phoenix will come and revive all characters fully and do damage. If you followed this guide correctly, the fight should only take 5-15 minutes, depending on what level you're at.
REWARD: EARTH HARP
Take the Earth Harp into the rightmost building in Kalm Town. Go into the room upstairs and give the man the Earth Harp. In return, he'll give you Master Magic, Master Command, and Master Summon Materia.

Defeating Ruby WEAPON
To defeat Ruby WEAPON,Use the same characters and equipment as in Emerald's strategy. Now, equip Cloud with your new Master Magic Materia paired with the All Materia, and a Ribbon. If you didn't get a Ribbon on Disc 1, go to the Crater and fight the Master Tonberry(The purple midget carrying a lantern with a star on his head). Then, use ONLY ONE 4x Cut from cloud on the Master Tonberry. Then, have Yuffie or Tifa morph it until it dies. When it dies, it will morph into a Ribbon.
Anyway, back to defeating Ruby WEAPON. Give Tifa Master Command Materia and a Knights of the Round Materia. Also, give Yuffie Master Summon and a master Restore Materia paired with All Materia. Go into a normal battle and kill Tifa and Yuffie, leaving Cloud alive. After the fight, fully heal Cloud ONLY. Do not bring the others back to life, you'll see why later. Now, enter battle with Ruby WEAPON. If you've already tried to fight Ruby will all characters alive, he would slap you around with his hand and drown you in quicksand. Entering a battle with only one party member will cause Ruby to bury his hands into the sand, making him vulnerable. Now, While Ruby has his hands buried, Cloud still alive, and the others dead, have Cloud cast Life 2 on your party to fully revive everyone. Notice that Ruby won't unbury her hands. Next, have Cloud cast Wall on the party to reduce all damage, and have Yuffie cast Regen on the party for continuous healing. Now, have Tifa cast Knights of the Round on Ruby. He will then counterattack with Ultima, but with Wall and Regen in place, this shouldn't be a big threat. After this, have the party Mime KOTR until Ruby dies. Since you have mostly the same Materia setups as for Emerald, your characters will be counterattacking with KOTR while absorbing lots of HP. Also, recast Regen and Wall when necessary. Stay in the fight long enough and you'll defeat Ruby!
REWARD: DESERT ROSE

To trade the Desert Rose and Earth Harp for prizes, go to Kalm town and into the rightmost house. Go upstairs to find a guy walking around. Talk to him to get your prizes.
