Snorlax "The sleeping pokemon" Snorlax can only be found in two places, Routes 12 and 16 It can be woken up with the Pokeflute, but you'll have to try hard to capture it. Try using an Ultra Ball if you have one but it is possible to catch one with a great or poke ball.

Porygon It can be purchased for 6500 (blue) or 9999 (red) Game Corner Tokens, depending on which version of the game you have. This pokemon is very week. I don't like it.

Aerodactyl First, get the Old Amber from the Cerulean Museum Lab (which you gain access by cutting a bush to the northeast.) Then, deliver the Old Amber to Cinnabar Island South Lab. This pokemon is very strong which is caracteristic of Dragon type Pokemon.

Kabuto To get this Pokemon you must choose the Helix fossil before you leave Mt. Moon. I think he is better then Omanyte because he evolves into an awesome pokemon, Kabutops.

Omanyte You must choose the Dome Fossil before you leave Mt. Moon to get Omanyte. You can only collect one fossil per game, so you'll have to trade for the other. Omanyte evolves at level 40.

Lapras After you defeat Gary in Silph Co. speak to a nearby employee who will give you Lapras. Lapras is a great pokemon. Level it up and it will learn a great Ice move!

Eevee Go in the back way of Celadon Mansion and talk to the guy at the top. Eevee can evolve into three pokemon. A Vaporion (water) Flarion (fire) and Joltion (electric.) to collect all three again you must trade with a friend.

Articuno Since it is a Legendary Bird it is extreamly powerfull. It is found in the depths of Seafoam Island

Zapdos A great combination of Electric and Bird it is almost invisable. Last spotted inside the Power Plant

Moltres This fire pokemon is your last challenge before the Elite 4. Waiting for you on Victory Road

Pokemon You Must Trade For With Game Characters

Jynx You can find the strange Jynx by trading a Polywhirl in Cerulean City. I never used it because it was too ugly.

Mr. Mime The elusive Mr. Mime can be found by trading an Abra in a house south of the Route 2 entrance to Diglett's Tunnel.

Farfetch'd This cute duck can be obtained by trading in a small Spearow to a boy in Virmillion City. When you get it, it is at a low level. Level it up and it will become very powerfull.

Lickitung Trade a Slowbro for a Lickitung in one of the observing towers near Cycling Road. I really never used mine so I can't say anything about it.
