Here is the pokemon yellow walkthrough so far.
Pallet Town:
Meet Proffessor oak and get your pikachu from him, and battle gary who has an eevee. Win or lose, doesn't matter, but try to beat him. You will get your pokedex, and then you go to Gary's house to find a map.
Route 1:
Your first foray into the tall grass! Talk to the people you find in the area, and one guy gives you a potion. Then continue going to viridian city.
Pokemon found in above areas: Rattata, Pidgey.
Viridian City:
You finally arrive at viridian city. You now go heal your pokemon if needed and pick up a parcel for prof. oak from the pokemart. Deliver it to prof. Oak and then you go back to viridian and start buying precious items including potions and pokeballs. Then head up north to route 2.
Route 2:
Here is a good area to capture pokemon. There is also a couple battles too.
Pokemon found in above areas: Pidgey, Rattata, Nidoran(M), Nidoran(F).
Viridian Forest:
There is many battles in this area, also you can find many items. A good place to get experience is when you are facing a wild metapod, because there all no Kakuna's.
Pokemon found in above area: Caterpie, Metapod, Pidgey, Pidgeotto.
Pewter City:
Now you arrive in pewter city. Now you finally get to face your first gym leader, Brock.
Heal your pokemon at the pokecenter, buy alot of potions, and go face brock. I did this, and since pikachu was electric, i worked up my caterpie levels in Route 2 to make it evolve into butterfree so i can use psychic attacks. And that worked, cause i beat brock's onix and geodude in 1 shot each, using confusion. Once you beat him, you will recieve the Boulderbadge, and TM34. Now go to the pokemart and get some pokeballs and potions, then get your pokemon healed again, if needed.
Route 3:
Lot's of trainers will battle you along the way to Mt. Moon. If your pokemon are injured by the time you get to Mt. Moon, go to the pokecenter there.
Pokemon found on Route 3: Spearow, Rattata, Mankey, Sandshrew.
Mt. Moon:
put pikachu in the front of your line-up. He can defeat zubat's quickly, even with one hit. Make your way through the dungeon, and end up getting to one of the valuable fossils. Later in the game it will turn into a rare pokemon. Right after you have taken one of the fossils, you will run into Team Rocket. They have Ekans, Koffing, and Meowth.
Pokemon found in Mt. Moon: Zubat, Sandshrew, Paras, Geodude, Clefairy.
Route 4: There is not alot of activity, but you will be able to catch some pokemon. then head to cerulean city.
Pokemon found in above area: Rattata, Spearow, Sandshrew, Mankey.
Cerulean City:
Build up your pokemon, and then go fight misty of the cerulean gym. Put pikachu up front because pikachu has strong electrical shocks against water. Defeat her and get your 2nd badge, the cascade badge, and TM 11. Now, you can go get a bulbasaur from the girl in the house next to the pokecenter. Oh yeah, don't try saving up for a bike. It won't work. You will be lucky later in the game. Now go onto route 24.
Route 24: Fight all the trainers on the bridge and beat gary. Then go further and get a charmander from a guy.
Pokemon found in Route 24: Oddish, Pidgey, Venonat, Bellsprout, Pidgeotto.
Route 25:
You will be able to fight lot's of trainers on the way to bill's house. When you make it there, talk to bill, and look at pikachu! he will have a shocked expression. Bill gives directions to get him back to normal. Go to the computer when he tells you to. Once you are done all of that, talk to bill again and he will give you an S.S. Anne ticket! Now go back to cerulean city and pass through the house in the top-right corner that you couldn't pass before. Head down Route 5.
Pokemon found in Route 25: Oddish, Pidgey, bellsprout, pidgeotto, venonat.
Route 5:
Now you go down here and you have the option of going to the Pokemon DayCare center.
Pokemon found in Route 5: Pidgey, Pidgeotto, Rattata, Abra, Jigglypuff.
Route 6:
Now you go battle a few trainers and make your way to vermillion city.

DO NOT TAKE THIS WALKTHROUGH, I DID THIS WITHOUT COPYING AND PASTING OR STEALING. I AM SURE YOU COULD DO THE SAME.
