| MEET THE CHARACTERS Ash want's to become the world's greatest Pokemon trainer. He is cheerful, energetic, and eager to learn new things. Professor Oak is a man of knowledge and the ultimate authority when it comes to Pokemon. Pokemon is the name used for all 150 of the little monsters that Ash finds, captures, trains, swaps collects and uses in the fight against rivals. Pikachu is the first Pokemon character to join Ash in his quest to become Pokemon Master. He can understand humans but doesn't speak their language. Gary is the grandson of Professor Oak. He wants nothing more than to be a better Pokemon trainer than Ash. Misty looks like she's just a little girl, but she's a good Pokemon trainer and has joined Ash on his journey. Brock has also joined Ash on his journey to become a Pokemon trainer. He has vast knowledge of the Pokemon and is one of the eight Gym Leaders. Team Rocket characters include James, Jessie and Meowth. These sinister characters often show up and battle with Ash. |
