(3) Rev. Pum Suan Mung (BA.,MA(Theology), M.Div.,D.Min.)
He was born in 1955 from Christian family. His mother has 4 daughters and 5 sons- all together 9 children. He is number 6 son. His parent had dedicated them to be missions even before they were born.As the result of their dedication to God,they have been becoming missions of God.He was a government school teacher from 1980-1993, for 13 years. He earned the degree of B.A in 1984, and got married in 1985.His wife was a shopkeeper. When he heard the call of God to be a mission,he abandoned his job and his reputation completely.Thereafter he joined Bible seminary from 1993, and completed M.A(Theo.)in 1995. And he studied M.Div course in Rangoon from 1995 to 1997.He was pastoring at Evangelical Baptist Church, Yangon simultaneously.By the grace of God,he arrived here in Korea in 1999 to study the Word of God,now he has been doing D.Min program and he will be graduating September, 2001.
He was born and grown up of Christian family, but he could not realize that he was a sinner. The Bible says, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of god. (Rom.3: 23) And there is none righteous, no, not one (Rom.3: 10). In deed, he thought that he was a righteous man, and had no sin, but the Bible revealed me that he was a sinner and there is none righteous. Moreover, Therefore, just as sin entered into the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all man, because all sinned. ((Rom.5: 8) this is the plan of salvation of God before the foundation of the world (Eph.1: 4-5)
His father always taught him the message of salvation, but he used to hear it and ignored for a long period of time. In 1974 April 1-6,Rev. Hau Lian Kham held a revival crusade in our hometown, whereas new-believers were added day by day. His elder brother also became born-again and was teaching and testifying about salvation to him. Yet he could not accept salvation because he could not realize that he was a sinner, so also he did not need savior to save me from sin.
Nevertheless, by the time he was constantly listening the message, the Holy spirit revealed him that he has sin(1Jn.1:8).On the third night of the crusade, April3,1974 he could receive the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savoir sand Lord who died for my sin and resurrected from the death for my righteousness(Rom.10:9,10).

(5) Nang Thawn Tuang (BA., M.Div.)
He praise the Lord and thank God for his mercy and love that enabled him to be born grow up from a good Christian family. As his parents are committed Christians, they want all their children to serve the Lord. Infact, his mother dedicated him to be servant of God the movement he came out from her womb. As such, he began to learn the word of God and more about in Sunday schools from childhood. Therefore, he has clear understanding of his salvation and enjoy his life with Christ. He started involvement in church ministry even during his high school days. He works as Youth leader, Sunday school teacher, counselor and itinerant evangelist according to the time and the situation.
When he was about to write Ten Standard examination, he made a vow before God saying that if God grant me success I will go to the Bible Seminary. (You may be aware that Ten Standard examination is centralized in Myanmar. It is not easy to pass Ten Standard because of the high competition demanded by our government). God answered his prayer and he passed Ten Standard at his first attempt. However, firstly his father wanted to study Secular College instead of going to Bible College. So, he entered Mandalay University and then transferred to Yangon University after two years. Yangon University is the largest and most esteem University in Myanmar. During his two years study at Mandaly University he had the privilege to worship and serve the Lord with University Christian Fellowship (UCF). While staying at this University, the Myanmar pro-democratic demonstrations brake out and all learning institutions in Myanmar became closed indefinitely. He was left without knowing what to do and where to turn his face. At that time God gave him a vision could learn tailoring during this break period. He went to Maymyo(Pyin Oo Lwin) where his sister and her family are living and he could learn tailoring. When he finished his training along with Rev. Drin Brang (Kachin) started a Missionary Tailoring Center at Myomyo(Pyin Oo Lwin) that is three hours journey from Mandalay city. At that time animistic non-believers were found to be more opened than Muslims and Buddhists do. That's why the first U.S.A missionary to Myanmar Judson lamentably observed, it will be easier than to snatch a piece of meet from the Lion's mouth than to convert Myanmar Buddhists.
Meanwhile, Universities were opened again and he transferred to Yangon University in 1991. As before, he had the privilege to be involved in University Christian fellowship once again. During this time God answered his prayer (he pray for twelve years) to become a famous singer. By God's grace published his first album compromising of pop song love songs, and country songs. He also had the privilege to sing in the Myanmar national Television programs. His friends are mostly Buddhists. So, he shared the word of God. But it is very difficult to convert them because they have been so deeply rooted in Buddhist beliefs. When he graduate, he joined Yangon ZOMI Baptist Church as a Youth Leader by accepting their invitation. They made Gospel song cassettes under his supervision and made outreach program in around Yangon city. After serving five years at Yangon Zomi Baptist church he got a chance to study theology at Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission, Korea in 1999. He thank God for what he has done in his life. As he study the word of God gives him visions and better plan for his future ministry. He will work among Myanmar Buddhist and he will always need your prayer support. Praise the Lord.

(6)Mang Cin Pau [B.Th.,M.Div.,Th.M]
He was born of good Christian parents in October 01, 1969 in a small village called Phaiza, Tedim Township in Chin State of Myanmar. He had seven brothers and three sisters from the same parents. He was not brought up from the educated family but peasants. His father was one of the first men who became born again Christian since 1945 in his village named Phaiza. As a result of that the Baptist Church in Phaiza has been going well by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Mr. Pau had been taught and led by his parents into true Christianity since he was born and grown up. His elder brothers and sisters in the knowledge of Gods love and participating in the activities of the Church also led him. He knew and believed that he was a sinner who needs the redemption of Jesus Christ. He fully believes and accepts that Jesus died for his sins and all his sinners are cleansed away by the power of the blood of Jesus Christ that sheds on the cross of Calvary. This salvation is not human merit and it is by grace alone (Eph.2: 8,9). Our justification before the Lord God is by faith in Christ alone and the blood of Christ redeems us from the power of hell. It is by the grace of God alone. Man deserves death because of sin but the death of Christ made a way for our salvation and all our sins are forgiven by the time we are saved. To him, justification before the Lord is by faith in Christ and His grace alone.
Mr. Pau was fully convinced by the Word of God to be the servant of God and left every business that he did and devoted his whole life for the Kingdom of the living God. After being conversion, he decided to learn the Bible in the seminary and then moved to Lamka, since March 1990. He began his theological study at Nazareth Bible College from March 1990 December 1992, and earned his Graduate of Theology (G. Th). He was offered Academic Award by the grace of God.
Mr. Pau realizes the need and the value of studying the Word of God and God had opened the door for his further study at Bethel Bible College located in Tedim, Chin State, Myanmar. He joined this Bethel Bible College since May 1993- February 1995 and received his Bachelor of Theology. He was awarded the Award of Evangelistic Ministry. He studied in this College by generous donations of the Church members of Bethel Assemblies of God Church in Tedim and others. He is indebted to the College for the knowledge and the experiences that he earned.
Mr. Pau strongly commits his life for the ministry of the Word of God and God had opened a new door for him to go again for further studies before the end of 1995. God is so gracious to him and he was able to join Grace Baptist Theological Seminary that was founded by Rev. Dr. Neng Khan Thang, and located in the heart of the city Yangon, Myanmar. He studied in this blessed seminary for three full years since August 1995 March 1998. He satisfactorily completed his study courses and received his Master of Divinity (M. Div). One of the valuable blessings from the Lord to him is that he was invited by the president of the Seminary (GBTS) to be one of the faculty members in this Grace Baptist Theological Seminary, and he joined it from July 1998. This is one of the greatest testimonies that the Lord did in his life to give Him glory and to encourage the poor people in seeking Gods will in the journey of Christian life.
While Mr. Pau has been and was serving as full time lecturer in Grace Baptist Theological Seminary the good God opened a new door of blessing for him to pursue a higher degree at Asian Center for Theological Studies & Mission, (ACTS), Seoul, Korea. He left his Church, Seminary due to his further study at ACTS and joined this blessed seminary since February 1999- July 2001. He is doing his Master of Theology in the field of Systematic Theology. He writes a Thesis entitled: The Study of the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity in Augustine in Relation to the Debate of Modalism for the partial fulfillment of the requirement for the course of Master of Theology.
He would like to briefly introduce the title of his Thesis. The Word Trinity is not a biblical term but a synthetic drawn from the reflection of the special revelation (Bible). Trinity is a belief that God is one and there are three persons in that Godhead, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are equal in divine substance and dignity although they are different persons. The Father is God. The Son is God. The Holy Spirit is God. They are not three Gods but One. The Father is neither the Son nor the Spirit. The Son is neither the Father nor the Spirit. The Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son. The Son is begotten, and the Spirit proceeded from both the Father and the Son, that is called filioque. There is no subordination among them and they all have the same attributes such as omnipotence, omniscience, omnipresence, and eternity.
On the other hand, modalism is a belief that there is one God (one person) who had variously manifested to the creatures and the church as Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Modalism denies the co-existence of three persons in the Godhead. It also says that there is one God who appears according to the dispensations. But Augustine says that God is one in three persons. The Father is not the Son. The Son is not the Father. The Holy Spirit is neither the Father nor the Son. They are equal in dignity and divinity. There is no subordination among them.
Modalism is against the teaching of the Scriptures in understanding of the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. It is also very close to the belief of United Pentecostal Church (Onenes Pentecostal). The existence and distinction of the three persons in the Godhead is fully evident in the baptism of Jesus. The Father was speaking while the Son was in the water to be baptized by John and the Holy Spirit then appears as a Dove (Matt.3: 16,17). Another proofs of the co-existence of three persons in Godhead is revealed by Jesus in His Great Commission (Matt.28: 19), and Paul the apostles benediction in 2Corinithians 13: 14). Therefore, to deny Trinity is denying the living God and it is also a sign of not really believing in the Word of God. Modalism is a heretical and wrong concept of the nature of God and a believer who would like to hold the Word of God firmly must deny it. Modalism is a demonic influence on the life of believers in order not to understand the true nature of God. Trinity is the foundation of our Christianity and without Trinity nothing was existed. All creatures are the handy work of the Trinity. Believing the Trinity will make you sound on your doctrine. It is the heart of true Christianity.
Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty!
God in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity!
