| CUBAN LIBERTARIAN MOVEMENT * MOVIMIENTO LIBERTARIO CUBANO |
 |
The Cuban Libertarian Movement was founded in 1981 by the late Cuban poet and philosopher Damon Guillermo Ernesto Bordenave De Lemos, son of tortured and martyred Cuban freedom fighter Ernesto Bordenave, himself head of the Movimiento de la Libertad Republicana of the 1930's.

Mr. Bordenave de Lemos, a descendant of el Cid, was also very active in the early USA and Indian Libertarian movements, distributing Libertarian reading lists to thousands of academics everywhere.

It has continued co-ordinated by Dr. Emiliano Antunez, and welcomes all persons seeking to improve Cuban and Cuban-American life in the transitional period using the Libertarian Philosophy of respect for natural rights, economic and social freedom, and the replacement of government functions with voluntary, non-coercive means.
Libertarians intend to build a new Cuba based on dignity, abolition of poverty through the pure free market, and protected social and economic areas; and harmonious cultural growth with all areas of the region. To this end, Cuban Libertarians welcome interest by Libertarians in all countries, that Cuba be great.
