November 2, 1998: Mick Foley is presented with the WWF Hardcore Championship by WWF owner Vince McMahon and is immediately deemed the first champion, Raw is War.

November 30, 1998: The Big Bossman defeats Mick Foley in a Ladder Match, Raw is War.

December 21, 1998: "The Road Dogg" Jesse James over the Bossman, Raw is War (taped December 15), Spokane, Washington.

February 14, 1999: Jesse James is unable to defend the title due to injury and forfeits. It's decided that a match will take place between Al Snow and Bob Holly to decide the new champion.

February 14, 1999: Bob Holly defeats Snow following Heat at IYH: St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Memphis, Tennessee.

March 15, 1999: "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn beats Holly, Raw is War, San Jose, California.

March 28, 1999: Hardcore Holly over Al Snow and Billy Gunn in a Triple Threat Hardcore Title Match at Wrestlemania XV, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

April 25, 1999: Al Snow defeats Hardcore Hollly at Backlash, Providence, Rhode Island.

July 25, 1999: The Big Bossman beats Snow, Fully Loaded, Buffalo, New York.

August 22, 1999: Al Snow regains the title from the Bossman at Summerslam, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

August 26, 1999: The Big Bossman regains the title from Snow, Smackdown, Kansas City, Missouri (taped August 24).

September 9, 1999: The British Bulldog defeats the Bossman for the title, WWF Smackdown, Albany, New York.

September 9, 1999: The British Bulldog presents Al Snow with the Hardcore Championship Belt.

October 14, 1999: The Big Bossman wins a Triple Threat Match over Snow and The Big Show, WWF Smackdown, Birmingham, Alabama (taped October 12).
