You weren’t really interested in me… Just acted as if you did… Spoke to me as if you did… Lied to me… The way you did. You played around with my heart While I sat there, Blinded by your foolishness. I had loved you. Yet, I don’t think you ever understood that. You played with my emotions And made me cry tears Full of sadness and hatred. I never wanted to see you again. Never had I thought we would even talk to each other again. Yet, now as I sit here I realize Our friendship grows… Day by day. Now I know That we were just meant to be friends. Never had you intentionally wanted to break my heart… And now I feel as if you are more trustful… More reliable… I shall cherish the great times we had… The times I was never lied to. Our friendship shall remain in my heart for a lifetime. You are too good of a friend to be forgotten. |
