refreshing the earth. Rejuvenating life, restoring the balance. Quenching the thirst, refilling the cup. With me comes life, awakening the sleeping, bringing life to the unborn. Some hide in my presence, others rejoice in it. Softening the soil, enriching the earth. I fuel your lakes and rivers, I am their parent. I bring the crop, and keep it fresh and growing. I fall, fall forever, until I reach the earth. waiting until I may rejoin the sky. At the end of it all I leave the beauty of God’s promise, with the help of the warming sun, a rainbow reaches endlessly across the sky. |
