Warmbloods are mainly used for dressage. They are very muscular and are often tall (around 16h. tall). Warm bloods compete in different levels of dressage, some harder than others. More info will be posted soon. About to Get a Horse? Are you ready for your own horse? It's takes time. Here are a few tips you might want to follow before you decide on a horse. Number one- call ahead to see the horse so the owners have time to prepare the horse for you. Visit several times and come a few times without calling to see what your horse would be doing if no one knew you were coming. Number two- Ride the horses several times, just to make sure that when you rode him before wasn't a fluke. Number three- Ask about any vises your horse might have (cribbing, bolting, exc.). You don't want him to be in the habbit of biting people or anything like that. Number four- Make sure you look around to make sure this is the right horse for you. If you have anything you would like to specialize in, make sure this horse can do it or can be easily trained to. Number five- Match your level riding skill with the horses- green+ green= black and blue- that means a green, or unexperianced horse and a green rider make black and blue, in other words, bruses. So be careful about getting a horse and make sure you won't regret your decsion! Pop-ups :-P I'm really sorry about the pop-ups.
