Bored Games

.....Here is a board game to save you from boredom. Unfortunately, you need two or more players. :( You can print it out, or play on-line. If you play on-line you each need a little piece of paper (maybe the size of a dime) with your name on it (so you can tell them apart). Those will be your game pieces. The static electricity should make them stick to your computer screen. Don't touch your computer screen, or you'll get it dirty. Just push your game piece instead of picking it up. You'll also need a die (one dice). If you don't have one, you can just take the 1-6 cards from a deck and just draw one.

.....Instructions:
Place game pieces on start. Players take turn rolling the die (or drawing cards) and moving their game piece that many squares. Follow the instructions on the square you land on. A player's turn ends when they land on a blank space. The first person to land on 'finish' is the winner. You don't need the exact number of squares to land on 'finish' (the game's hard enough as it is).

Here're the rules to the card game Spit:

Spit!

Spit is a two or three person card game (with three people is really hard, though) that isn't like other card games because there aren't any turns and whoever's fastest is the winner.

......Instructions:

1) Split a deck of cards with your opponent. You hold your cards in your hand and don't look at them.

2) You both put four cards in a row in front of you (just randomly draw four cards from the pile you're holding.)

3) Count to three and say "Spit!" On the word "Spit!" you and your opponent each draw a card from the ones you are holding and put them down side by side in between you and your opponent's row of four cards.

4) As fast as you can, you place cards from the four in front of you on the two cards you and your opponent just put down. You can only put a card on a card that is one higher or lower than it (Jack on Queen, 6 on 5, 4 on 5, Ace on 2, Ace on King, etc.)

5) Keep putting cards in front of you as you put them on the piles in the middle, but you can only have four or less in front of you at a time.

6) If no one can put any cards on the middle pile, you and your opponent count to three and say "Spit!" and put a card from the ones in your hand on the two piles.

7) A round ends when a player runs out of cards totally, or no one can put any cards on the middle and no one is holding any cards.

8) When the round is over, you try to slap the smallest of the two piles. When a pile has been slapped, that player takes that pile. The other player takes the other pile.

9) The game ends when a player runs out of cards totally and slaps a pile with no cards in it.

Party Games

The Human Knot

You need at least five people for this to be interesting.
Everyone stands in a circle and reaches their hands into the middle of the circle and grab hands. The knot won't work if you're holding hands with only one person, if you're holding hands with someone standing next to you in the circle, or if you're holding more than one hand in each of yours.

When everyone's holding hands, try to untangle the knot any way you want without letting go. The game ends when you're standing in a circle again, completely untangled. You might not be standing next to the same people you started standing next to, and sometimes a few people will be facing out of the circle.

You can play with two teams and make it into a race if you want.

Sheets
I'm pretty sure that's not the real name, but I don't know what it is.

You need two teams of at least three people; the more people on each team, the more challenging.
Each team needs one sheet.

Lie the two sheets flat on the ground. Each team stands on their sheet. The object is to try to flip over your sheet before the other team without anyone stepping off the sheet. Illegal to try and knock someone on the other team off their sheet.
