| Time |
 |
| It keeps going and going |
It's meaning is that of many
It earns people their penny
Through labors we are paid
In time multiplying like a blade
Passage of time is one of mystery
To go back or forward through eternity
Would be a feat I wouldn't want
For the implications would surely haunt
For if it goofed something up in time
Eternity would fall out of rhyme
Rips in the continuum and destruction
All of it in mass production
No I'd rather leave all as is
I don't want to get mixed up in that biz
In school time fluctuates
Causing both good and bad fate
Something done at some point
Could give you money or you in the joint
Decisions in time can be dangerous
For everyone not just us
Just because we are the future
Doesn't mean you should act any less mature
For those of you in office
Sitting behind a desk reading this
Listen close and pay attention
Remember what it was like in detention
Don't talk move or even breathe
Or else you'll be here until the eve
So anyway back to time
Going back to limbo and rhyme
Time itself is a wonder
Sometimes I just sit and ponder
Will time take me now
Will I be swallowed and how
Oh well I guess I'll never know
So think about my flow
Ponder time and its passage
And wonder about its message
