Introduction Hello, my name is Janine Francis. I am an 18 year old student living in South London. My aim for this site is to give every visitor the most valuable piece of advice they are ever likely to come across. So what sets me apart from the thousands of other agony aunts on the web? Well, apart from the fact that I am renowned for being a good listener and an even better problemsolver, my own life experiences have shaped me into the person I am today, making me see things from different perspectives, broadening my mind and opening barriers of comprehension. The Importance of Youngsters To me, age is but a number and should not restrict someone as young as me from giving advice. It can be said that I do not fit the pretentions of most agony aunts, owing to the fact that they are all usually over 30 with degrees and the like. And soon enough all their advice becomes quite similar, given that they are all generally the same sort of people. Thus, I will not refer to myself as an agony aunt, but instead go by the title of agony sister. I want to encourage young people to use this site, so they know they are not alone in this world. Things 2 Do This site is not only a place where you can get advice, you can contribute your very own stories and poetry and read other peoples'. Being a fan of reading and writing, I know that these practices can help people in their time of need. They have done so for me in the past. I feel it is important to air your feelings, and writing intense poetry is often an healthy approach to inner peace. What 2 Expect In the near future I hope to expand my website to offer all the pleasantries visitors expect from sites. There will be games, jokes and any other things I can think of.
