THE LAST JUDGEMENTDAY EVER !

This Judgement day was the last ever, but we only found that out a week after the event had took place. It started at 9 and finished at 5. We got there about 10ish and the place was empty. As we walked in we were being entertained by DJ Slick, he played a really good hard trance and nu energy sorta set which went down well with about the 20 os so people inside at that point.

But before we knew it time was rolling on and we found that come 12 o'clock it was time for Bass Generator. He started a bit shakey but really got into things playing tunes like - The Event, Anihliating Rhythm, Strobelight, Mayday, Crowd Control and Fuck me best friend etc etc. He played for 2 hours and after that it was time to explore the gabber room. Now this place was the size of a shoe box with a set of dex in it (no kidding). We danced to the set of Wee Lee, Smurf, DJ Q etc then in the main room Marc Smith was playing. I had expected a really good hard 'N' bouncy set from him, but he plated more freeform.

TechnoTrance was up next, This guy is always gonna be the best playing hardcore, but again he played like a nu nrg set which went down really well, and I enjoyed it. After his set, the Gabber room had to close because it was sooooooo fucked up. That meant it was time for a good friend of mine called DJ Cutthroat to take control of the decks in the main room, he played the best set of the nite imo, some classic tunes, good mixing really got the crowd going.

All in all it was a ok night, nothing to special which the Judgement Days are renouned for but still good value considering I got on the guestlist and got in for nothing.

HELTER SKELTER / COMPULSION 'ENERGY 2001' REVIEW.

As this was the last event EVER at Bowlers it just had to be the best of the
best....... and my god was it a stormer. Every single DJ performed to the
best that they could and because most DJ's were playing brand new music, it
made the night a total success!!! Because, unfortunately, the event was the
last at Bowlers everyone who heard of this event when first advertised
wanted a ticket. The event was sold out with 2 weeks to go to the event!!!!
Bowlers was full, the music was loud and proud and it was definately one of
the best hardcore events ever to be held at Bowlers.

Compulsion are back with Club Space on November 10th and Helter Skelter's
next hardcore event is on NYE in conjunction with Vibealite. It will be
MASSIVE!
