Gran Turismo, it first came out in 1998, and took the marketing world by storm. It was rated The best racing game ever by almost every gaming magazine in the world. The expectations of it were wild, but the game met all of them. No other games can match the superior graphics, the cars, or the tracks. The two game modes (Arcade and Simulation) are two totally different games in one. Arcade mode lets you win goodies that give you more dealerships, and lets you take bigger jumps, although you have less cars to drive. Simulation mode is the realistic part of the game with more tracks, more cars, your own home, and alot more races. You win cars in races, but before you can do that you need to buy a car with $10,000 and get your licenses. Each license has a different effect the B license allows you to race in B license race same with the A and IA license. there are 8 tests each license, and each get harder and harder. Each test give you the challenge of haveing to use the fundementals of racing, the game gives you a time before you start. The time is what you have to get to pass the test, but if you go off the track, or don't make the time you will fail. As you race you get money for whatever place you're in. You race against 5 other cars that are usually equal to your car. You can modify your car with things that you would usse on a real car (Turbo kits, brakes, tires, spoilers, etc.). If I was to rate this game from 1 to 10 (10 as the best) I would give it a 10. So, if you're looking for a great racing game... You should buy Gran Turismo.
