Sega's Genesis Nomad was basically a portable Genesis (known as MegaDrive in the east) compared to a Game Gear being a portable Master System. On the launch of Nomad, Sega claimed there was over 600 Genesis Gamez that all could played on Nomad except for really old ones. This handheld could also hook up to a TV and act as a Genesis or a Genesis controller. Like the Genesis, it has a 16 CPU. Nomad is dead, because Sega withdrew all projects because they wanted to get ready for Project X (Dreamcast)
