| The Hero: You name the main character, a young boy who uses a weapon called Tonfa who joined the Youth Brigade under Captain Rowd with his best friend Jowy. The Hero has a sister named Nanami, who were both adopted by Genkaku. Jowy: The Hero's best friend, who also joined the Youth Brigade and uses the staff as his weapon (he and the Hero also have an awesome combo attack called "Buddy Attack") Flik: Although he was presumed dead at the end of Suikoden 1 after being shot by an arrow and staying behind in the Emporer's Castle to fight the guards, he's back and in action. He is now part of the City-State of Jowston and leads a mercenary group with Viktor. Victor: Also presumed dead at the end of Suikoden 1 when he helped Flik at the Emperor's Castle, but now helps Flik lead the mercenary group near Ryube in the City-State of Jowston. Nanami: The Hero’s sister. They were adopted by Genkaku, but he died a year before the game starts so now Nanami is the Hero's only family and is very protective of her little brother. Luca Blight: The prince of Highland under his father Agares Blight and one nasty dude who decides to break the treaty with the City-State of Jowston and begin a war. Genkaku: A forgotten hero who's past will eventually be explained... he adopted Nanami and the Hero when they were little and taught them how to fight and live, but dies one year before the game begins. Shu: A wealthy trader from Radat who eventually joins you to become your Military Strategist. He studied under Mathiu (the strategist from the first game) with Apple. Apple: She is at the town where you get your runes after it burns down and will join you as a Strategist until you can recruit Shu, later in the game. She studied under Mathiu with Shu and is on a journey to make a collection/journal of Mathiu's life when she joins. |
