Please look towards the bottom of the page for a chart on the moons for year 2000. It may be a little off, but I doubt it is. Oh, and by the way, don't think there is a new moon out when it is just very cloudy outside. Don't get me wrong or anything there could be a new moon, but sometimes it is just because the moon is hidden behind clouds.
Full Moon
The full moon is a very powerful "sign" in most magickal events. The full moon usually energizes people and makes them happy. This time of the month is usually the best time to do rituals and so on. But ,be warned ,the moon is powerful all ready so could you imagine how powerful it is at full !!
Waxing Moon
The waxing moon, from new to full moon, is the time for intilizing, organizing and beginning projects and other such things. When the moon is starting to get full is the best time to start just about anything from solo projects to group projects. If you are going to have group activities you need to start in the waxing phase of the moon and end in the waning phase of it.
Waning Moon
The waning moon, from full to new, is a time for tying up loose ends and ending long projects and such. Don't get the waning moon and the waxing moon mixed up! They are both very different and if you start a project on a waning and end on a waxing moon could spell disaster!
New Moon
The New Moon, when there isn't a moon out, influences people with low energy and is a time to rest and relax until the new cycle of moons occur. This time is usually the best time to do spells if you are in to the magickal practices of occultism. I know I said the full moon is, but sometimes you don't want to use the full moon magick for some stuff.
