Hey isn't the music cool? It's from the Japanesse version!
Pokemon Snap:
This July Nintendo will invite you to take a safari to Pokémon Island, where you can collect photographs of your favorite Pokémon. You'll be able to observe Pokémon in their natural habitats, and interact with them to get wild Pokémon to pose for your camera. Professor Oak will judge and score your pictures, so you can compete with your friends to see who can take the coolest photos. Pokémon Snap will be your first opportunity to watch Pokémon come to life in the 3D world of Nintendo 64!
Pokemon Stadium:
While Pokémon Snap features untamed Pokémon as they appear in the wild, Pokémon Stadium will let trainers get down to business and compete in heated battles with trained Pokémon. All 150 Pokémon will be in the game, in full 3D with awesome special attacks and animation sequences. Up to four players will be able to compete in a Pokémon tournament.
One of the most intriguing aspects of Pokémon Stadium is that you'll be able to battle with your most loyal Pokémon straight from your Game Boy cartridge. Thanks to a special adaptor that plugs into your controller, Pokémon data can be transferred straight from your Red or Blue Game Boy game to your Nintendo 64. You'll be able to watch your favorite Pokémon go toe to tail in a 3D competition. Pokémon Stadium will be released this fall (which is at least one good reason to look forward to the start of another school year)!
Pokemon Yellow:
Designed specifically for Pikachu lovers, Pokémon Yellow will follow Pinball as the next Pokémon release for Game Boy Color. The gameplay will essentially be the same as the Red and Blue versions of Pokémon, but the Yellow edition will be stocked with special features. You'll be able to choose Pikachu as your first Pokémon, and you'll actually be able to see Pikachu follow your character on the screen as you travel on your quest to be the world's greatest Pokémon Trainer. You can look at Pikachu at any time and watch funny animations as it hangs out, and even listen to the sounds Pikachu makes.
Pokémon will evolve at different levels in the Yellow version, and certain TMs will be reassigned to different Pokémon. Jesse and James from Team Rocket (who didn't appear in the Red or Blue games) are scheduled to make guest appearances. Perhaps the most exciting aspect of Pokémon Yellow is that you'll be able to make stickers of your Pokémon using the Game Boy Printer. Expect Pokémon Yellow to arrive in September.
Gold/Silver:
Optimized for Game Boy Color and featuring at least four new Pokémon, Pokémon Silver and Gold will be the perfect companion Paks to the Red, Blue and Yellow versions of the game. Although these screens shots are taken from incomplete versions of the games, it's clear that they will look phenomenal on Game Boy Color. Details about these titles have been scarce, but we've learned that you'll need the Red and Blue versions of the game to complete your Pokémon collection on Gold and Silver. Pokémon Silver and Gold are gearing up for a Japanese release in June, but an American release date has not been announced!
Pokemon Pinball:
In a tribute to the great grand daddy of video games, Pokémon will star in their own pinball game for Game Boy and Game Boy Color. This Pak will feature a Rumble Pak built right into the cartridge, which shakes your entire Game Boy Color as you play! The official line-up of Pokémon has not yet been confirmed, but Pikachu, Diglett and Charmander have been spotted in the middle of the action. The release date for Pokémon Pinball is June 28.
