Patriots vs Eagles. Whose gonna win? I dont know yet but its gonna a great game. Will it be the patriots who has been in the superbowl 4 times and won 2 if them. Or would it be the eagles who only been in the superbowl once and lost that game. It could be the patriots or the eagles. But before u shake ur opponents hand on a bet u might wanna think twice. It gonna be a great game. Vote for ur team in the poll! |

Former Packer Edgar Bennett was hired Friday |
GREEN BAY, Wis. (Jan. 28) - Former Packer Edgar Bennett was hired Friday as the team's running backs coach. Bennett replaces Johnny Roland, who accepted the same job with the New Orleans Saints.
The team's fourth-round draft selection in 1992, Bennett is the ninth-leading rusher in Packers history with 3,353 yards from 1992-96. He also holds the club's single-season record for receptions by a running back at 78, set in 1994.
Bennett spent the last four years in the team's player development department, and it was recognized in 2003 as the best in the NFC. He also helped coach the running backs over the last few years, assisted scouts and performed evaluations on selected players.

The MVP has hard choose to make |
Most Valuable Player: Steve Nash, Phoenix
Nash has managed, in half a season, to prove his value to the Suns in both classic methods. First, he elevated their record and his teammates' games with his court-general play. Then he got hurt, missed a handful of games and was as missed as Simon dropping off the judges' panel of "American Idol.'' James is bucking the he-can't-be-this-good-this-soon bloc, but the fact is, yes-he-can. And the only thing better than seeing the Diesel thrive in Miami is seeing the Lakers thrive in southern Cal, sans Kobe. Runners-up: James, S. O'Neal.

Washington the idea of a playoff team in Washington again - not to mention a high seed - was not on our radar back in October.

Biggest Disappointment team |
Minnesota the Timberwolves, even with a four-game winning streak, woke up Thursday morning in ninth place in the West. If that rebated, Joe Smith-penalty first-round draft pick next June ends up as a lottery pick, woe is the Wolves.

Biggest Surprise Individual |
Eddy Curry, Chicago the subject of about 137 trade rumors heading into this season, Curry transformed himself, worked hard for a change, got in shape and now is a virtual lock to sign a long-term extension with the Bulls. The future is now, finally. |
|
Biggest Disappointment Individual |
Carmelo Anthony, Denver his rival, James, probably will start for the East All-Stars, right there on Anthony's home court at the Pepsi Center. Meanwhile, the Nuggets' catered-to scorer and disinterested defender will try to figure out a way to get out of playing in that junky Rookie Challenge game. Unless the NBA - largely to blame for touting James and Anthony as equals, when the gap between them in fact is considerable - is slipping him a fat appearance fee to boost the All-Star Friday focus in Denver.
