| "International Association of Rattlesnake Hunters" The Diamondback Club members would like to invite you to the Snake Hunt in Okeene, OK There's something for everyone! * Parade (Saturday-10:00 a.m.) * Dunk Tank * Train Rides (Saturday Only) * Talent Show (Sunday at 11:00 a.m.) * Den of Death * Food Vendors * Butcher Shop * Carnival Rides (Thursday Special wristband) * Snake Dance featuring "Tucker Road" (Saturday night) * Local Taxi Service * Bull Riding (Friday and Saturday) * Knights of Columbus Breakfast * Arts & Crafts Booths * Staged Train Robbery * Old Smokey Show * Rattlesnake Steaks (mmmmmmmmmmm) * Snake Memorabilia * Snake Golf Scramble (Sunday at 1:00) * Townwide Garage Sales * Muttin Bustin * Health fair (Friday only) * Horseshoe Tournament (Sunday only) * Lot of stuff to do this year! Maybe you would like to be in the parade. Contact Becky at (580) 822-3005. This year a Health fair will be open Friday (8-4) at the Zion Baptist family center. A talent show is underway. Scheduled for Saturday at 1:00. Call Donna at 580-822- for details. Merriam's Midway Shows is coming again this year. They do such a great job every year. This year they are planning on doing a Thursday night wristband. Ride all you want for $9.00, 5-10 p.m. (Thurs night only) We have provided a list of local motels on the Sponsor's page. Come and check us out this year. It is going to be a blast! We would like to thank everyone who helped make this year's Rattlesnake hunt a huge success. We would like to thank Sooner Coop, H.S. Superintendant-Mr. Pittman, Dobrinski Chevrolet, Leland Fisher, and Becky Bedwell. Not to mention the city workers who help us out every year after snakehunt. Also everyone else that contributed in any way. We lost a very devoted member. The Diamondback Members Dedicated this year's hunt in his memory.  "Ronald Posey" 20 years of dedication, 1979-1999. We have established a scholarship in his honor for a local student.
