 SERENA
Sailor Moons earth name is Serena or Tsukino Usagi in Japanese. She is 14 and in the second year of joiner high. Serena is somewhat of a clutzy ditz. She never tried very hard in school and spent much of her free time in the local arcade and looking at cute boys. She never thougth that she had a real purpose in life, which caused her to be very lazy. She ate a lot and played a lot of video games. Then, on that faithful day, Serena stumbles upon a cat with magical powres. It is later on found out that this cat is named Luna, and Luna's purpose is to find the Senshi of the Moon and to aid her in her search for the Moon Princess. Serena doesn't believe Luna when she tells her all of this information, but is soon convinced when Luna gives Serena her own Transformation Brooch. Once she transforms for the 1st time, she models herself in her mirror, amazed at the change she has just undergone.From then on, Serena is known as Sailor Moon, champion of justice. She encounters many problems on her journey as a Sailor Scout, but with those struggles also came good times. Because Serena was a Senshi, Serena was able to make friends with Raye (Sailor Mars), Amy (Sailor Mercury), Lita (Sailor Jupiter), and Mina (Sailor Venus). Sailor Moon heads this group of Sensh, known as the Inner Senshi. Even though, on occasion, her friends may think of her as a "flake", or a "ditz", or an "airhead", when it really counts, Serena's true self shines through, showing everone that she is a nice, gentle, and caring person deep inside. Her strong bond with her friends is what carries Serena through most of her troubled times of crisis. When the Senshi are making their way to the NegaVerse base and on by one Sailor Moon's friends are being killed, it is they her friends that tell her to not lose hope and to carry on with the mission.As Serena develops throughout the SailorMoon series, we can see a variety of changes in her. In the struggle against the NegaVerse, she is able to vanquish the evil Queen Beryl, and old enemy of the former Queen Serenity. In the fight against the children of the Doom Tree, Serena realizes the power of true love. When she and her Senshi pals battle against the NegaMoon Family, Serena realizes just how important her past and future are. And with the other struggles she faces, she is able to learn even more, whether it be from the enemy, or her firends.Her ultimate dream and destiny is to become Darien's bride. No matter what happens to her, she wants to be with Darien, always. She first fell in love with him back during the Silver Millenium. It was forbidden back for people of the Moon to mingle with people from Earth, but Serena didn't care that her identity then was Princess Serena of the Moon. Her love for him grows ever the stronger when we end up meeting another one of Serena's "alter-egos", NeoQueen Serenity. By that period in time, she and Darien have since gotten married and have become rulers of Crystal Tokyo and we also find out that Serena and Darien, in the future known as NeoQueen Serenity and King Darien, had a child named Rini. Serena's past and future are not that complicated, but very fascinating.Serena, overall, is a regular teenage girl with awesome abilities that only certainpeople know about. She is determined to rid the Earth of all evil. Even though she may have some awesome victories against the forces of evil to everyone that knows her, she is simply known as Serena.
