It is heartbreaking when you go through it... and you dont quite get what you want but while you are there... you couldnt be happier. You couldnt be more satisfied with your life because for once, you have something to live for, something to wake up to, someone to admire. You arent alone in a dire existence, whether you gaze from afar or know them close up you have them. Something to make you worthwhile, something to make you feel like you have a fundamental reason for being. That is what this issue is about... nothing else. |

Pain- affliction, agony, anguish, anxiety, bitterness, despondency, distress, grief, heartache, hurt, malaise, martyrdom, misery, rack, sadness, shock, suffering, torment, torture, travail, tribulation, woe, worry, wretchedness
This, in my opinion, is the greatest one of the three. It goes through the internal agony that we, as humans, as lovers, as beings, as teens, as creatures in this realm do as well and demonstrates pure, unaltered, unwavering emotion. Raw emotion. It is an intense work of art and focuses around the bad in life, with a few random things. |

Recovery- aid, alleviation, antidote, assistance, catholicon, corrective, counteractant, counteragent, countermeasure, drug, elixir, elixir vitae, fix, healing, help, medicament, medicant, medication, medicine, nostrum, panacea, pharmacon, physic, placebo, proprietary, quick fix, redress, remedy, reparation, restorative, therapeutic, treatment
It is just that, a mixture between happiness and the depressing factors of this world that try to hold you down. It is about acknowledgement and acceptence, it is about getting better when you never thought you could. They are scars, not wounds. You are recovering. |

Charlotte Messenbrink is my Artist. She is better than you would think anyone in highschool should be. She makes the other part of my zine worthwhile.
Chris Hass is my Yes/No man. He tells me what pieces sound good with the topic and which should have never been written in the first place.
Josh Hines is my Background man. This computer guy is worth more than Chris is... hahaha. Dont tell them I said that. Hehe. |
